We walked quickly through the streets back to Dean's place. Luckily, most of the Fey were in their houses still, in fear that the tevits might come back. When we got to Dean's, Jake started pacing and Mitch sat on the couch next to Hailey as he comforted her.
"Can someone please explain to me what's going on?" Jake said.
Dean was deep in thought as he stood in the kitchen. I looked down at my feet, not sure what to tell them. How could I have dragged them into this mess? Suddenly, Ariana burst through the door.
"Dean! She is going to fall in love with another before gett..." She stopped talking when she saw my friends sitting there. "No, no, no! What have you done? They can't be here!"
"I know. We had no choice." Dean explained.
"What do you mean you had no choice?!"
"Tevits. They know they're all with us. They would have used them to get to us. They couldn't go home. Their scents would be strongest there." Dean said.
"Would someone please tell me what is going on?" Jake repeated.
He went completely ignored.
"What are you going to do with them? If anyone finds out that they are here, they'll kill all three of them." Ariana stated.
"Kill us?" Mitch asked from the couch.
"I'll explain everything to them." Dean said.
He walked over to them and began explaining everything briefly. Ariana and I walked into the bedroom and closed the door.

"What were you talking about before." I asked.
"I did some researching, hoping to bring some good news to Dean. I spoke to the prophets. They knew there would be someone else that you would fall in love with before you fell in love with the prince." She said.
"So it's absolutely inevitable that I will marry Daniel?" I asked sadly.
"Yes." She said, fiddling with her hands.
Suddenly, something began flashing in her pockets. Her face turned pale.
"I need to go. Now." She said worriedly.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing... Just please stay here... And don't use your magic." She said firmly as she reached out for the handle.
"I want to know what is going on." I said, holding onto her arm so she couldn't leave.
She looked at me for a moment before answering.
"Daniel is in the Fey Realm." She said hesitantly.
I gasped and dropped my hand from her arm. "I want to come."
"Are you crazy?!" She yelled.
The door swung open and Dean stood there with a worried expression on his face.
"What are you planning now?" He asked.
"I have to go back to the palace because Daniel is in our realm and this lunatic of yours, wants to come." Ariana said to Dean.
"What?! Why?! After what he did to you?! After what he did to us?!" He yelled.
"I just want to talk to him." I mumbled.
Dean shook his head. "No way am I letting you near him."
"I'm not asking for permission." I said firmly and walked past Dean and out the front door.
I began jogging to the palace. Ariana ran out the door behind me and was next to me in milliseconds.
"Hold on." She said holding out her arm.
I placed my hand on it and felt the familiar spinning feeling. We both appeared in the common room of the palace. We ran down the halls until we came to a large, bare room. In the centre were six guards that surrounded a chained up and secured Daniel. He smirked when he saw me.
"Good, good. My hypothesis was correct. I appear and you come snooping." He laughed.
"What are you doing here?" I asked cautiously.
"I don't want to talk until we are alone." He said.
"No wa-" Ariana began.
"Do it." I said before she could finish.
"Are you cr-" She yelled but once again, I cut her off.
"Crazy? Obviously. Please let me talk to him alone." I said, not taking my eyes off of him.
Ariana grunted and then waved her hand in Daniel's direction, obviously placing spells on him. Once she had finished, she nodded at the guardians and they walked off through the back doors. She also exited the room.
"I thought we may have gotten off on the wrong foot." He said.
"You think?" I said sarcastically.
"Believe it or not, I can see myself loving you."
"Really? Your doing a great job at that." I said, once again sarcastically.
"I guess the reason I sent that picture was because I'm slightly jealous of that boy." He said, looking down at his feet.

I was actually speechless. He was jealous of Dean?
"What are you doing here?" I asked again.
"Why, to see you of course. I get the feeling that no one else here likes me."
"And you think I do?"
"Maybe not yet, but you will."
He smiled at me and walked toward me. Although I hated to admit it, he was quite alluring. As he got so close that I could feel his breath on my skin, my senses kicked in. I could smell a beautiful, minty aroma from his breath. The muscles on his arms bulged through his shirt. His now brown eyes were deep and loving. All evil that was ever there had vanished. I could hear the sound of his sweet breathing as he stood so close.
"You feel it too. A certain attraction between us." He said.
He pressed his lips against mine, gently this time. The taste of his kiss was delicious and I found myself giving into the kiss.
"That's my girl. You shouldn't lead that jerk face on now that you know your feelings for me."
Everything I had just felt floated out the window and I was reminded of why I hated him so much.
"Ugh! You are so... So... So..." I stuttered, trying to find the word.
"So what my dear?" He asked teasingly.
I let out an exasperated sigh and stormed out of the room.

Ariana met me outside, scanning my body up and down.
"You ok?" She asked.
"I'm fine but I want you to kill him." I said seriously.
"We can't?"
"Why not?! Now is the perfect time. He is tied up and useless."
"If we kill him, war will be declared. We will do everything it takes to avoid war."
I shook my head and turned towards the front doors of the palace. I began walking but before I could get to them.
"Jess?" I turned in the direction of the voice and saw Mark coming toward me. "How is my favourite living thing in this Realm?"
"In this realm? I have some competition do I?" I laughed.
He scooped me up in a big hug.
"Yes, you do. There is a girl... She died... She was my everything. I refuse to believe she is dead. I've searched everywhere for her but I think I might have to give in soon." He said sadly.
"What was this girl's name?" I asked kindly.
"T... Tanya." He stuttered.
Did... Did he say Tanya? Could it be the Tanya I met?
"What? You know a Tanya?!" He asked alarmed.
Whoops. Mind reading.
"I met one. I was in the Dark Realm and she came and helped me heal. She had the power of influence over the mind."
"My Tanya... My Tanya is alive!" He exclaimed. "Why didn't you bring her back? Or is she... Is she on their side now?"
"No, no. We tried to get her out of there but she sacrificed herself to save us."
"She's dead?"
"No! They just captured her before she could get away." I explained sadly.
"We have to find her and save her." He said loudly.
Ariana appeared next to us.
"Save who?" She asked sternly.
"You know the girl I told you about... Tanya?" I asked. She nodded her head. "Well we want to go and save her." I explained.
"No way. We don't go into their realm and they don't come in our's."
"What about Dean. You let him go to save the one he loved." I argued.
"That's because Dean isn't the only one who loves you and wants you safe. I do too." She said.
"Well, Mark isn't the only one who loves Tanya and wants her safe. I do too." I said.
Before she could throw in another comeback, a guard ran up to us.

"He's gone." He exclaimed. "Daniel's gone."
