When the feeling in my body returned, I felt the familiar falling feeling. It was just like my nightmare where I was plummeting to earth with nothing between me and the solid hard ground. I screamed and yelled and flapped my arms around but it was no use. Before I knew it, I was flat on the earth with a loud thud. There was one difference between this time and my vision. This one hurt! Like, really badly! I lay there for about ten minutes before pulling myself off of the ground. My arms were weak and shaky but I managed to stand up. I wasn't even sure how I was alive. It was a massive fall. It must have been magic. I looked around at my familiar surroundings. The still lake was exactly flat and the trees shot into the starless night sky. As I looked around, I spotted the man again. Watching me. I asked him who he was but once again he refused to tell me, only this time around, the voice was so familiar.
"Daniel?" I questioned.
He chuckled dryly. "Clever girl."
"That's why you were so familiar when I first met you."
"What?" He asked, confused but quickly passed it off. "That day, I wanted to just whisk you away while you were alone and a little more vulnerable. I heard about the pain Dean put you through the first day you met him and instantly felt sorry for you."
"I don't know what you are talking about. Dean has never lied to me. He has never hurt me either."
"Um... hello? I was there the night he almost killed you." He smirked.
"That was an accident... It was mostly your fault anyway!" I yelled.
He just looked at me, the smirk never fading from his face.
"You realise that the first day you met Dean, it was your little human immunisation day. He kissed you on the hand. That kiss was actually a spell. A lot of the things in that needle can stop our powers from working properly. The spell takes away the needles ability to do that but it is an extremely painful process."
"How do you know this?" I asked.
"I did have lessons on magi-"
"I mean about what happened that day. How did you know that Dean kissed my hand... And... And..."
"The plaque. It's amazing what it will show you sometimes." He replied with the evil smirk still on his face. "Now... It's time to get down to business."
He bared his four sharp teeth at me and hissed. I ran in the other direction.
"Oh don't run. I won't kill you... Yet. My boss needs you alive. He has big plans for you." He smiled. I turned on my heel and ran in the direction I had come from. The rest played out exactly as it had in my vision. Daniel finally chasing after me, throwing me against a tree and telling me how much he loves games. It all finishes once again with a final blow to the head by the rock.

I woke up and my vision blurred slowly back into focus. I looked around at the dimly lit room. The walls were made of dirt and there was only one other person in the room... Daniel.
"Good morning sleepy head." He laughed.
I tried to stand up from the chair I was in but noticed my arms and legs tied to it. I let out a low grumble.
"For someone who felt sorry for me, you aren't treating me very well." I commented.
"I'm sorry. I have to re-educate you and undo all of the lies they have told you. By the way, did you like the little falling trick on the way in? That was my master's idea."
"How come I didn't die from that fall?" I asked out of curiosity.
"It's all an illusion. It hurts like it would if you actually fell from that high, it just doesn't kill you." He replied. "It's a way to keep the annoying little creatures out of our realm."
"Out of your realm? This is another realm?"
"Yeah. Pretty cool secret eh? We call it the Dark Realm. I don't think anyone from the human or Fey Realm know about it yet." He said excitedly.
"What do you want from me?" I asked.
"Those fools in the Fey Realm have got you believing that they are all good. I'm here to re-educate you and teach you to fight with us."
"I would nev-"
"Yes, you would. Do you want proof? I am the only prince of Fey. The rest are Kings. I'm sure you've heard about the prophecies." He said devilishly.
I was speechless. I would marry him? It couldn't be. He was an evil creature... a monster. I would never marry someone like him. Or would I? What if I did join this side? What if I couldn't help it?
"I love watching you debate with yourself but there is no point. The prophecies never lie and never change." Oh how many times had I heard that since I came into this world. "Also there is not going to be another prince for seventy years apparently." He chuckled.
I felt the world spinning around me. How could this be happening to me?
Then everything went black.
