The End. Illumi x reader x Hisoka

The third phase

I kept an eye on hisoka and avoided him on the way to trick tower. I felt tired and knew I'd want my energy for when we got there so id decided it wouldn't hurt to take a nap. I sat down against a corner in a hallway and dozed into sleep.

I woke up with a tap on the shoulder. I opened my eyes quickly and hisoka was squatted down in front of me with a small humorous smile on his face.

"about time sleepy head. we're here." he informed me while standing up. he grabbed my hand and lifted me from the ground.

"oh- Thank you Hisoka." I thanked him. I pulled my hand out of his since he was still holding it and covered my mouth with a yawn. he smiled and turned walking down the hallway out of my sight. I quickly hurried out the airship where he was already at.

"Welcome to trick tower! you will have 72 hours to get to the bottom of the tower. good luck." an announcement from the airship informed us before the airship flew away.

I took one step forward and I was falling- I was falling through an opening into the tower. I yelped in surprise and clumsily stumbled once landing on my feet. I took a deep breath to calm myself. I was in a square room that was dark, not dark enough to not be able to see. more like a dim light. there was a small table in the corner in front of a door looks like the door can't be opened unless it is opened from the other side or it opens from control of the tower. on the table was a watch.

"Welcome to trick tower! the course you have taken is called crush. Please put on the watch and then we will begin." a fake cheerful voice exclaimed.

I walked over to the table and put on the watch. the door opened. so, the doors can't open unless who ever controls it makes it open. I walked through onto a platform with a square room below. the platform extended 5 feet into the room and then stopped. there was a 100 foot drop to the floor. there were random ladders of different lengths all hanging from the walls and the platform.

"you must get to the door at the bottom of the room before the walls crush you to death! better hurry, begin!" the same cheery voice informed me. the walls started closing in. I hurriedly climbed down the ladder the longest down from the platform. that met only about halfway. I considered jumping but would probably hurt myself in the process. there was a ladder on the incoming wall that led to the ground. it would be about a 10-foot jump to the ladder. I jumped towards the ladder. I grabbed the ladder after falling five feet. and hurriedly climbed down the ladder to the ground. when I got to the ground there was about 5 feet of room between the walls which was being closed quickly. I was 4 feet away from the door. I ran through the door and luckily didn't get squished.

The door I had run through led into another room. above my head there were boulders held in cages. there was a spiral staircase leading deep into the tower with sturdy metal rails along the sides. the bottom of the staircase wasn't visible.

"This is the staircase you have to go through. you have to hurry down the stairs, once you get to the halfway mark to the bottom the boulders in the cages above you will open and the rocks will roll down the stairs and kill you! have fun!" the voice said.

I checked my watch. I had spent about half an hour of my time. I decided to try and make it as fast as possible, so I started to jog dpwn the stairs quickly. deciding to save my stamina for sprinting down once the boulders release after about an hour of jogging, I still couldn't see he bottom, and the top was starting to fade out of sight. I kept jogging. after an hour there was a loud booming noise.

"The boulders have been realised." the voice informed me.

I started to sprint down the stairs quickly. after about 30 minutes of full on sprinting I got to the bottom and through the door leading out. as I walked into the next room, I examined the room around me. it looked like a bare hallway but there were multiple lines hidden into the surroundings. whoever tried hiding it did a careless job.
