time to visit some parents

"sure." I nodded nervously as I answered his question.

"you'll need to start packing some clothes. Ill go notify my family." He told me while pulling out his phone from his pocket. I walked into the bedroom, I emptied my backpack and grabbed a few random outfits while trying to not think about why I felt so nervous.

I filled my backpack with some outfits. I closed the bag and filled Akira's, (now my) white purse with my other stuff. I grabbed another random outfit from the closet. It was a baggy white sweater, with a white skirt. I walked into the bathroom, taking a shower, and changing into the outfit. I curled my hair. I walked out to see illumi sitting on the bed. He was staring at me.

"are you ready?" he asked me.

"yeah." I told him.

"ok." I picked up my bags. he grabbed my hand and led me outside where a limousine was waiting. It felt weird being in a limo and having it be so calm. 

 the limo dropped us off at an airport where we got on a private airship. A day later, we arrived at kukuroo mountain. The mountain where illumi lived with the rest of the Zoldyck family. 

As we got off the airship illumi seemed to be a little tense, and he seemed to be going a little more emotionless than he had been the past few days. I gave him a big hug trying to keep him happy. It seemed to work. 

He walked leading me down the halls of his large mansion. We stayed hand in hand as we walked.

He opened some large doors, there was a large rectangular table. A man and woman who I'm assuming were his parents, were sitting together at an end of the table. The woman wore a large purple dress, she had something that looked like a rectangular box covering her eyes. She had a hat on and bandages all over her face. The man had long white hair. he had ocean blue eyes just like killua. He was tall and muscular.

"why hello there! You must be y/n l/n! I'm Kikyo and this is my husband Silva!" the women introduced while flashing her hands together excitedly. Silva gave a nod.

"illumi. You are excused we would like to talk to y/n alone." Illumi bowed. He had went numb again. He turned and left.

"come! Sit!" kikyo pointed to the chair across from them. I sat down.

"so! We've heard quite a bit about you y/n! would you tell us a little about yourself?" kikyo asked.

"sure thing." I said. I told them the details of my ability, about my parents, my acquaintances, etc.

"how about your fighting skills?" Silva asked me. I shrugged.

"I'm definitely not as good as some people. I'd say I'm decent. I can kill people with my hands. My tactics are more effective with knifes though." I explained. They nodded.

"Well we were thinking since your ability has some flaws, would you like to under go training here? It would be hard." I thought about that.

"I don't really know. What type of training would I be doing?" I asked wanting more details.

"we could give you some basic training against electricity and poisons, or some strength enhancement, speed enhancement and much more. We'd give you the opportunity to choose." I thought about that. I thought about all that illumi and his siblings had gone through. I wouldn't want to get sucked into something like that unless I had to.

"no, but thank you for the offer." I told them, making up my mind.

"that's too bad. Before you leave we would like to ask you, how do you feel about illumi?" she asked.

"I love him." I blurted out. my face turning red.

"I mean, I love him, he's been my friend for a long time, and, I really care about him." I said in a quieter voice. I looked down at my hands in my lap feeling awkward.

"It was nice to meet you y/n." kikyo exclaimed while clasping her hands together again. Silva just gave me a nod.

"you may leave." I got up and bowed before I walked out. As I walked out a butler came up to me.

"follow me. we will escort you back to the airport and then back to your apartment." I nodded and followed the butler.

Illumi's pov-

I sat in my room silently staring at the wall. I was thinking about what y/n would say to the offer of training my parents asked her. After a few minutes, a butler knocked on my door.

"yes?"

"your parents would like to speak with you. y/n is currently being escorted back to her apartment" I returned them with a blank stare as I walked down the hall towards the dining room. I guess y/n had chosen not to.

I walked in. my parents were sitting at the table same spot they had been beforehand. I sat down opposite of them.

"illumi." My father greeted me.

"Father."

"illumi dear! y/n is such a sweet girl. As you can tell, she chose not to take up our offer. We wanted to discuss something with you." Mother said. Mother and father exchanged glances before continuing.

"y/n really loves you. We wanted to know how you feel about her." Mother continued. Hearing that one sentence 'y/n really loves you' lit my heart with a warm happy feeling. I already knew that but still, hearing it out loud felt wonderful.

"I love her as well." I told them. Mother smiled and father gave me a small smile.

"well that's wonderful dear! We would like you to spend more time with her, once you've spend more time with her we would like to think about arranging a marriage." I nodded shoving the feelings away.

"yes father, mother." I replied

"you may leave." Father told me. I stood up and walked out. I had a long mission to do now so I pulled my out phone and left a message for y/n. I put it away and left on my mission.
