She took a few more steps down the stairs and put out her cigarette on the wooden arm. "You don't know me but I know you...now what are you doing in my house?" She asked. Anyone who listened to Marshall's last two projects knew that she's Kim.

"Your house?" I raised an eyebrow.

"The divorce isn't over and he hasn't changed the locks so yes...it's my house. I'd appreciate if you'd leave. " She rolled her eyes.

"I think I know where the door is, sweetheart." I responded.

"Well, don't let it hit you on the way out." Kim snarked, walking back up the stairs.

I decided to bite my tongue and let her have the last word. I closed the door behind me as I  walked out to my car. The nerve of this bitch to come barging up in here and to tell me get out? It wasn't like i was planning to stay any longer but still. What the hell is her problem? 

I was a slightly heated so I jammed my key into the ignition and turned it a bit roughly until a snap sound caused my heart to dropped to my ass.

"No...."I felt the loose disconnected part of the key and i already knew that i fucked up..bad. And i just got the battery changed a week ago. How can I get home when I cant even start my car?

Marshall was at the at the studio, I
knew Aaliyah was preparing for the auditions with Carmen so they were off in Boston already and I would have to take multiple trains to get back to my place. I knew it there was only one person left who could help me..
