I see waters,
Waters too black
Black and still,
Still enough to be a desert
Desert too far stretched
Stretched like images
Images that are deceptive,
Deceptive for some,
Some whose perspectives fail.
Fail it isn't, if you are intuitive
Intuitive to not be deceptive
Deceptive by false images
Images like a false moon.
Moon that stood proudly
Proudly upon the sea
Sea that was too black
Black and wave-like desert,
Desert enough for one
One to fall for the sea in it.
It would keep going
Going till sea becomes a
A far stretched desert and,
And desert becomes a sea.-S. A. Khan
Author's note: this poetry form is called 'Anadiplosis'. Here the lines continue with the end word of the prior line.
