-Loki-

I help Sarah dismount the mare, keeping my hand in hers as we walk to the Bifrost. The feel of her small hand in mine is everything I need to know she is the only one I would ever want to run away with.

We approach Heimdal as he stands guard inside the Bifrost.

"I know why you're here." Heimdal states, without turning to face us, "I've been watching you two."

"If that is true then you know why we must go," I say, leading Sarah around Heimdal. He looks down at us.

"I cannot disobey direct orders." Heimdal states, "But I also can not argue with fate." With that said, Heimdal twists his sword into the Bifrost and it opens. I grab Sarah's hand once again and walk quickly to the opening.

"Hold on tight darling," I instruct as I wrap one arm firmly around her waist and the other around her shoulders. Sarah holds tightly to my torso as the light of the Bifrost engulfs us.

-Sarah-

My stomach does all sorts of flips and I get slightly dizzy, holding onto Loki as we travel through space in the Bifrost.

Not even seconds later do we stand on firm ground, now out of the Bifrost.

"Where are we?" I ask as I look around, taking in the scenery and the new planet we have landed on. It appears we are in the middle of some sort of junkyard.

"This is Sikkar, my love. This is where everything and everyone go when there is nowhere else to go." Loki answers. We both hear voices coming closer and I grab Loki's hand for comfort.

"Don't worry darling, hold on." He right before we are suddenly in the city outside the junkyard. I look around confused and then back up at Loki who is smiling down at me, amused.

"How did you..." I ask. Loki laughs.

"There is so much about me you are yet to learn my love." was his only answer. I roll my eyes, this must be another one of his powers. Loki tilts my chin up to look at him.

"I promise to explain everything later." I smile at his words and get on my toes to close the distance between us, kissing him sweetly. His hands hold my chin gently as we kiss, the other one snaking around my waist. I pull back and see him staring at me with a rare, soft expression on his face.

"Come, we must find somewhere to retire for the night, then I would love to continue this." He said, taking my hand and giving me one last kiss before walking down the street.

Loki somehow ended up getting us a penthouse suite to live in on Sikkar, probably something to do with his magic, he still owes me a full explanation.

Loki opens the door to our top-floor apartment and holds it like a gentleman, letting me enter first. I walk in and immediately walk up to the large window in the living room and look down at the large bustling city. The lights, the people, the aliens, I would have to get used to that part. It was already getting dark outside and I watched the sunset over the city of misfits. Loki's strong arms wrap around my waist from behind and he kisses the top of my head. I lean my head back into his chest and we stay like that watching the sunset until there are only the stars and the two moons left in the sky.

"Shall we retire to the bedroom, my love?" Loki coos gently in my ear. I turn around and kiss him.

"Yes, we shall my love," I respond, grabbing his hand and wandering the apartment more till I find the bedroom. The large king-size bed sits in the middle of the room facing a large TV of some sort with a bathroom off to the side.

"I will go take a shower," I tell Loki as I grab a towel from the bathroom. Loki summons a book and lays on the bed.

"I'll be here," he responds and continues to read.

I wash all the tears from my body, all the misery from the past weeks, and let them go down the drain. The only thing that won't seem to go away is the few scars on my wrists from a moment of weakness weeks ago. I grumble to myself and continue to wash my hair.
