CHAPTER NINETEEN

HINAWAKAN nya ang kamay ni Alexendris at tinanggal sa pagkakahawak sa braso niya. Hinarap niya ang binata.

"Wag na. Baka maistorbo kita. Ipagtabuyan mo na naman ako." pasaring nya. "Mage-enjoy na lang ako sa labas. Goodbye!"

Taas noong tinalikuran nya si Alexendris saka lumabas ng opisina. Ngumiti siya kay Hera nang makasalubong nya papuntang elevator.

"Hello? Stephen?" aniya sa cellphone

"Nandito na ako. Saan ka?...."

Si Stephen ang assistant ng papa niya na maga-assist sa kanya sa training. Nagresign na sya sa trabaho dahil gusto niya nang tumulong. Nakapag-isip isip na sya na mas marami syang time kung sa kompanya sya magtratrabaho.

"Teka. Pababa pa lang!"

Ilang segundo at bumukas din ang elevator. Nakita nya naman kaagad sa labas ng building ang sasakyan ni Stephen. Kumaway sya.

"Tara na?"

"Hindi. Dito na lang tayo." sarkastikong sagot nya

Nailing na lang ang katabi nya saka pinaandar ang sasakyan paalis.

HE'S NOT HAPPY. Mula sa taas, kitang-kita nya ang pagpasok ng dalaga sa kotse kasama ang lalaking hindi nya kilala. He looked at the food she gave him. Pabagsak niyang inilagay sa lamesa iyon.

"Damn you Celestine! You really knew how to make come around." nanggigil nyang saad

Dinampot nya ang telepono. Kaagad na sumagot ang tinawagan nya.

"Follow the woman who left my office. Make sure she'll come home safe."

"Yess boss!..."

"One more thing, report to me what they're doing."

He ended up the call. Sumandal sya sa swivel chair saka dinampot ang papel na nakatago sa drawer ng desk niya. It's an envelope with Celestine's pictures from his father.

Alexendris saw it coming. They made a deal. He may not be dating Celestine but she's more than just a woman he's with and his father knew that.

Once he commit. Once he owned a woman. Once he have Celestine.

Deal is off.

Simple as that. He'll have to marry her, inherit the wealth of Courner. Kasama na ang kaisa-isang batas nila and it's repeat history again.

He released a deep calm breath before closing his eyes. Trying to control his self not to barge out his office and follow that damn stubborn woman.

"If it wasn't for that stupid rule. Matagal kanang akin Celestine." he murmured

The door opening rings in his ears before Hera's voice echoed in the whole room.

"Dris? Ayos ka lang ba?"

"Leave me alone Hera. I need to calm down." He answered

He already turned his back from her but why do she kept coming back? Is she even aware of his harm towards her?

"M-may kailangan ka ba? Coffee? Ipagtitimpla kita." muling sambit ni Hera

He released a harsh breath. His eyes still close. Sa isip niya. Iisang babae lang lumalabas. It's not fair how she can make him think only her.

"I don't need coffee. I need her." More than anything else

One more step close to me Celestine and you'll be sorry. Hinding-hindi kita pakakawalan.
