March 20th 2008 Stark Mansion, Malibu
Bright and early, Aria woke up, her bedroom still dark. When she lifted her blinds, morning sunlight poured in, the sea glistening beneath the clear blue sky. She pulled on her white silk robe and wandered downstairs.
"Morning," she called out. Silence
She headed to the kitchen and started to make some breakfast, for herself and Tony. She picked up two plates of omelette and was about to head to the lab when she heard someone else coming down the stairs. Of course. How could she have forgotten?
She emerged from the stairs, wearing nothing but Tony's shirt. Aria backed into the kitchen silently, not interested in that interaction this morning. Christine padded around barefoot, running her hands over their things and inspecting all the decorations. She touched the thermostat but jumped at the sound of JARVIS's voice.
"Jesus." she gasped.
Aria snorted and Christine turned, noticing her in the kitchen. She eyed the blonde up and down, "Looks like you got your story."
Luckily, the clicking of Pepper's heels sounded, saving Aria from having to interact with their guest. "That's J.A.R.V.I.S, he runs the house." Pepper explained calmly, "I've got your clothes here. They've been dry-cleaned and pressed, and there's a car waiting for you outside that will take you anywhere you'd like to go."
"You must be the famous Pepper Potts," she said, strolling over to the woman, her head tilted, carefully analysing.
"Indeed I am."
The woman turned her attention back to Pepper, "After all these years, Tony still has you picking up the dry-cleaning."
"I do anything and everything Mr. Stark and his family require, including, occasionally, taking out the trash. Will that be all?"
