"Is it better to be feared or respected? I say, is it too much to ask for both?"
Aria stood back, picking at her nails. The crowd before her all stared at Tony in awe, as he stood, basking in the glory.
"With that in mind, I humbly present the crown jewel of Stark Industries' Freedom Line. It's the first missile system to incorporate our proprietary repulsor technology. They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it. That's how America does it. And it's worked out pretty well so far. Find an excuse to let one of these off the chain, and I personally guarantee you the bad guys won't even want to come out of their caves."
With a simple wave of his hand, the missiles lifted towards the sky. The soldiers watched with bated breath, as flames burst from the bottom, the hum of their power crescendoing. Silence fell as they disappeared into the distance.
"For your consideration, the Jericho."
The missiles exploded, like fireworks against the blue sky. A gust of air flew towards them, sending all the soldiers' caps flying off. Aria immediately pulled out her phone and flicked through her texts.
Her father wandered over to his cooler and took a glass of scotch, "I'll be throwing one of these in with every purchase of five-hundred million or more. To peace!" He moved towards Aria, a frown on his face, "Could've at least tried to look interested."
She didn't glance up from her phone, humming flatly, "I'd never lie to you though, daddykins."
He walked closer to her, "Do you want to save your tantrum until we're on the plane at least?"
"I'm not having a tantrum."
He scoffed, "What's got your panties in a twist?"
She looked up and glared at him through narrowed eyes, "Oh, I don't know, maybe the flight attendant that got yours in a twist last night."
