*Author's Note: To be honest, I feel that my chapters are being quite filler, so I am trying to reduce the amount of Harry Potter events and develop Lucinda and The Maze Runner characters' friendship. From now, I'm summarizing the events and putting only essential dialogues.

But before writing those chapters, I felt like writing a short story based on this crossover universe. So here is a (kind of) cute chapter featuring eleven-year-olds school life (there is no such relation to the main storyline; I guess this chapter should be cute since they're eleven-year-olds?).

Thanks to everyone who read this story and gave me reactions (votes, adding this story on their reading list)! I have more than 300 reads now, and I am currently leaping with joy (April 2nd, 2021)! XD

Also, if you liked this story, please check out my other works! One is a long story, and I am also working on various short stories :) (all fanfiction, 99.9% Maze Runner stuff, 80% sad - wait, 99.9% sad if you're feeling moody, but I also have happy/cute ideas in my head which will be later written)

It was a sunny autumn Saturday. Which meant, eleven-year-olds should go out and play. But being the bookworm and study-lover she was, Teresa insisted on finishing their homework in the library. Lucinda loved books, but she kept yawning. One, homework was no good. Two, it was the weekend!

"Teresa, I think there's no use doing homework on a Saturday," Lucinda suggested.

 "Why?"

"Oh god, it's Saturday! And I can't focus."

"Lucinda, you only need to finish your transfiguration essay. It's no big deal."

"Tell that to them," the blonde responded, pointing to the boys.

Newt and Thomas have given up on doing their assignments thirty minutes ago, and they were doodling on paper or occasionally reading books they brought from their home. While that, Teresa was the only one scribbling something useful on her scroll of parchment.

Teresa sighed and said, "Whatever, I'm going to finish this homework. And I won't help you guys cramming on Sunday evening."

That statement sobered everyone right up. Lucinda sighed and pulled out her essay, which she had only written the title and her name on it.

Finally, the four (three to be exact; Teresa finished hers early and gave revisions on the others' essays and assignments) finished their homework.

"What do we do now?" Teresa asked. That girl needed to learn how to be fun.

"Oh, what about hide-and-seek?" Thomas mischievously smiled.

"But what if we get caught?"

 "That's bloody great!"

Lucinda and Newt gave two different responses at the same time.

"Lucinda, it'll be fun!" To Lucinda's surprise, even Teresa agreed to the game.

 "Ugh, okay."

Lucinda ended up being the tagger and she had to find three people in this vast castle structure called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Of course, they all agreed not to hide in places like dorms, bathrooms, forbidden places, and so on. But, the school was still large.

Lucinda let out a sigh and started searching. It was only two in the afternoon; she had enough time to search the whole school, so here she went.
