Also, the First Year chapters are like filler chapters, and I have a hard time writing them. Just bear with me for around Chapter Twenty until First Year ends! 😊

Lucinda ran straight to the girls' toilet, of course looking around if anyone was there to catch her. She immediately found Hermione, still inside one of the stalls.

"Hermione, we have to go to the Gryffindor dormitory! There's a troll go-" At that moment, Lucinda saw the looming figure of the troll entering the toilet and the click sound of the door being locked.

"Blimey," Lucinda breathlessly said. She thought of a spell to attack the troll - there wasn't much, though - the knockback jinx popped in her head, so she used it.

"Flipendo!" It did not have much effect but helped a bit because the troll was sent a bit backward, making the walls crush.

Then the door opened, and Harry and Ron burst in. A thousand questions were running around Lucinda's mind, but she decided to forget about it and think about living first.

The troll was moving forward, and it was no time before their lives were at risk.

"Confuse it!" Harry said in a desperate tone to Ron and threw a tap hard on the wall. That made the troll divert its gaze to Harry, which was anyway dangerous. Then, Ron tried to shift the troll's attention (by saying "Oy, pea-brain!"), which also lead to the troll attacking Ron. At that moment, Harry jumped and fastened his arms around the troll's neck. But that was not everything - his wand stuck in one of the troll's nostrils, and it howled while swishing its club. Lucinda had to do something; she had to do something-

"Wingardium Leviosa!" Ron cast the spell they have learned earlier that day, and it surprisingly worked! The club flew out of the troll's hand and dropped onto its head. Then the troll fell.

"Wha-" Anyone could not say anything. After a moment of silence, Hermione was the first to say something.

 "Is it - dead?"

"I don't think so," said Harry. "I think it's just been knocked out." Poor Harry's wand was covered in the troll's bogies. He wiped it on the troll's trousers.

A sudden slam of loud footsteps made the First Years go silent once again. Then Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, and Professor Quirrell burst into the toilet. The three professors had different looks: angry, absent of expression, and terrified.

"What an earth were you thinking of? You're lucky you weren't killed. Why aren't you in your dormitory?" Lucinda just looked down. She hoped Professor McGonagall would not take points down from Gryffindor.

"Please, Professor McGonagall - they were looking for me," Hermione spoke in a timid voice.

 "Miss Granger!"

"I went looking for the troll because I - I thought I could deal with it on my own - you know, because I've read all about them."

There was a little bam sound as Ron's wand fell to the floor. Hermione Granger, the top disciplinary student of Gryffindor, telling a lie to Professor McGonagall!

"If they hadn't found me, I'd be dead now. Lucinda came to warn me and used the knockback jinx to attack the troll, Harry stuck his wand up its nose and Ron knocked it out with its own club. They didn't have time to come and fetch anyone - it was about to finish me off when they arrived." The story was partially true yet the premise was wrong - Lucinda tried to maintain a poker face but mainly stared at her shoes.

"Well - in that case... Miss Granger, you foolish girl, how could you think of tackling a mountain troll on your own?" Hermione's head hung low, and the other three were surprised that Hermione could lie to get them out of trouble. It was even more shocking because it was Hermione.

"Miss Granger, five points will be taken from Gryffindor for this. I'm very disappointed in you. If you're not hurt at all, you'd better get off to Gryffindor Tower. Students are finishing the feast in their houses." Hermione left.

"Well, I still say you were lucky, but not many First Years could have taken on a full-grown mountain troll. You each win Gryffindor five points. Professor Dumbledore will be informed of this. You may go." Professor McGonagall dismissed the rest of them, and Lucinda was surprised they were awarded points, so it resulted in an earn of ten points.

As the three hurried to the Gryffindor dormitory (Lucinda started to feel the hunger in her stomach, and she assumed so did the others), Ron grumbled about how they should have earned more points. Then Harry said, "She might not have needed saving if we hadn't locked the thing in with her."

"Wait, you locked the door?" Lucinda sharply turned around her heels and gave a death glare to the two boys. If they did not lock the door, Lucinda and Hermione could safely get out of the toilet and return to Gryffindor dormitory without getting caught.

"Yeah..." Harry sheepishly admitted, but then Ron said, "Well, we've earned points, so what's the deal?"

While talking, they had reached the portrait of the Fat Lady. Saying "Pig Snout", they entered. The common room was packed with students picking up the delicious food from earlier on plates.

As Lucinda entered the room, Teresa ran out of the crowd, giving Lucinda a warm embrace. It was probably the first she had received in years - the girl felt happy.

"For god's sake, where have you been? We tried hard to cover up, but Professor McGonagall found out."

"I tried to warn Hermione, but than those two idiots-" Lucinda tilted her head slightly to the direction where Harry and Ron were. "Locked the door and let's say it ended up in a mess. But, we've earned a total ten points of knocking the troll out."

"That must have been a mess," Teresa chuckled and nudged Lucinda. "C'mon, let's go eat something."
