With a smile on her face, Stevie sat watching Lindsey doing his best not to raise his voice, which would startle Harry, as the boy sat in his father's lap, seemingly trying to reach all the buttons and knobs of the mixing table all at once. She allowed herself a moment to dream, she wished that meetings between the father and son wouldn't have to be arranged ahead of time, she wished they could all be together all the time - a family. That was all she'd ever wanted with Lindsey. When they found out that those pregnancy tests weren't lying, she thought, they'd finally have it, until her dream was snatched away from her so incredibly cruelly.

There was no denying that Lindsey loved Harry. After all, the boy was the perfect combination of Stevie and himself. The curls and those blue eyes screamed Lindsey, the nose and the mouth were completely Stevie's. Even though the three of them didn't live together, Lindsey still tried to spend as much time he could with his first child. And they had a wonderful bond between them. Stevie had never quite seen Lindsey so patient with anyone else. No question of Harry's, no matter how silly, was left unanswered. Not once had Lindsey said no to playing with tiny cars or plastic soldiers, to reading a story. It warmed her heart and at the same time it tore her apart.

"He's great at this, isn't he?" Mick nudged Stevie, sitting down beside her.

"The best." She nodded, then glanced at him. "No offense."

"None taken." Mick laughed, shaking his head. "So, is my favorite godson going to be around until the end of this recording process?"

"We'll just have to wait and see." Stevie replied, turning her attention back to Lindsey and Harry.

Lindsey turned his head towards her, hearing that. Even if things were going well between them, he knew that everything could go south in no time. Especially, when his wife and two other children were going to come over eventually.

"Do you want to listen to a new song Daddy made?" Lindsey had to look away, focusing back on Harry.

"No." The boy shook his head.

"No?" Lindsey had to laugh. No one really ever said, no, to that question. "Okay, then what do you want to do?"

Without words, Harry slid off his father's lap and crossed the room over to where Stevie and Mick sat. He raised his arms up, letting Mick know to lift him up. Mick was always happy to entertain Harry, the boy held a special place in everyone's heart.

"You're getting so big, Harry!" Mick beamed at the 3-year-old. Mick lifted Harry up over his head, making him laugh. "Do you want to play airplanes?"

"Yes!" Harry yelled out excited and the two were out of the room, the funny sounds Mick was making and Harry's shrieks echoing around the house.

"I'm really happy you're both here." Lindsey said, once he and Stevie were left alone.

"Well, he's my son. I wasn't going to leave him at home." Stevie replied, feeling as if she'd already started allowing those walls to come down. She needed to get a grip.

"Our son." Lindsey corrected, but she didn't respond. "Stevie, I don't want this to become difficult. I think, we're past stupid drama. I want this record to be a lot of fun and I want us to be okay."

"We are okay." Stevie shrugged, picking up Sulamith off the floor. She wasn't going to leave her favorite pet at home alone either.

"Yeah? Doesn't seem like it."

"Lindsey, we are fine." She sighed. "Forgive me if I'm a little snappy. I haven't properly rested after the tour yet."

He studied her expression and he was almost sure that she was lying, but he decided to let it go. "Alright, I understand. But don't shut me out, okay? I'm really looking forward to all of us being together."

She knew that by all of us, Lindsey didn't mean Fleetwood Mac. "I won't." She promised, forcing a smile, as she got up and walked out, saying she wanted to check, what kind of trouble Mick and Harry had managed to get themselves into.
