The Troubled Two

Chapter 1 - Broken Trust

As Sora walks through the halls he hears a couple of girls yelling and screaming around the corner.

'I should go see what's going on' Sora thinks to himself as he turns the corner to see three girls. One on the ground crying, and the other two are standing and laughing.

"Hey! Stop picking on that poor innocent girl!" Sora screams.

All three girls look at Sora. The girl crying looks at him confused.

"Why should we? " replies the two girls standing.

"Because you two shouldn't mess anybody. It's not okay." He answers but softly whispers "I promise" under his breath.

"Yeah, but she's useless like you." Both girls say in unison.

"Shut up!" The crying girl screams as she is getting up, "You guys are cruel, you need to leave us both alone. We haven't done anything to you, damn it,"

"Oh look, the little bitch has learned to speak up," one of the bullies snaps back.

As she says that the girl that was crying pushed through the two girls and brushes past Sora.

"Hey! Wait!" Sora screams and chases after her.

Sora eventually catches up to her.

"What? Haven't you done enough charity work for the day? Or did you come back just to bully me more?" She snaps as she turns around.

"Hey, that's not the case. I'm bullied just like you. I figured if we stick together we could stand up to them," Sora replies.

She looks surprised. 'Is he being serious? I'll just play along.' She thinks to herself. "So, what's your name?" She askes.

"It's Sora. And yours?" He replied.

"It's Melody." She snaps as she walks away blending into the crowd.
