Chapter 10 - The Engagement (Part 1)

*4 years later*

Melody's POV

As I wake up I notice that Sora is no where to be found. Which makes me kind of sad because today is our anniversary of four years. I really hope he proposes today. That would definiately make my day. I sit up and look around and on the floor I notice a trail of rose petals and a slight scent of bacon coming from the kitchen. I smile as I get up and slip on my Batman sweat pants and Sora's BVB jacket and head down stairs. I notice Sora standing struggling to make pancakes. I smile and walk up behind him then wrap my arms around him and he jumps.
"You were supposed to stay in bed" Sora pouts.
"Well I woke up. I smelled bacon." I say as I kiss his cheek and smile. After we finish breakfast and Sora leaves, I walk over to the couch and sit down turning on the TV to my favorite show, Teen Titans.

Sora's POV

I had everything planned for today. I was going to give her breakfast in bed, but she woke up. It's been four years since we met. We are both old enough for us to get married. I think its time. I found the perfect ring for her. Its a Pokémon ring. It has a ruby spilt in half with a diamond on the other side (A/N: The picture is the ring). But I guess I'm going to have to improvise. I know exactly what I can do.
"I'm have some things to do later, babe. So I'll be gone most of the day." I state, looking over my shoulder and see her pouty face.
"B-but babe." She replies with sadness in her tone. Before she continues I quickly grab my keys and bolt out the door.
