Chapter 9 - The Promise

Sora's POV

I spotted the perfect ring. It was black with a red ruby. I also has an emerald on one said and a blue zircon on the other side of the ruby. "Hey. I need help over here! I want to buy this ring right here." I shouted to the store clerk. She rushed over and I pointed at the black ring. She nodded and pulled it out of the casing along with the box. "That's $250, sir." She said as I pulled out the extra money I had from my savings and handed it to her. I put the ring in the box and closed it. The box was black and had a gold swirl design on it. I smiled and slid it into my pocket. And continued shopping.

Melody's POV

As I woke up the daylight shined through the window and I winced covering my face with my blanket. Wait, where am I? I uncover my face and notice asprin and a glass of water beside the bed. With a note.

Baby,
         I went out for a bit. I bought us a house and already moved all our stuff in it. Your mom knows where you are and so does your brother. I got permission from your mom before I brought you so its okay. I'll be home soon take the medicine and go back to sleep babe. I have a surprise for you when I get back. See you soon, love.

I did as the note suggested and took the asprin and instead of sleeping I walked downstairs and layed on the couch. I turned the TV on and checked my phone. Nothing.

*2 hours Later*

Sora walks in with a big box with three holes on each side. I heard a little meow come from the box. "Babe, did you get us a kitten?" I asked and got really excited. He nodded. He let the the kitten out of the box. She was white with gorgeous blue eyes. "I love her." I said as she jumped into my lap. Sora was setting up her litter box and pouring food and water into bowls. She jumped away and ran to the bowls.
"Name her baby." Sora says as he sat down next to me.
"Snow." I reply and smiled. As I smiled, Sora turned my head towards him and kissed me. I felt so much love and passion. When he pulled away I blushed. I looked at Snow prancing around and then looked back at Sora. He was on one knee with a ring. My eyes lit up.
"Melody Rayne Black, with this ring I promise you that I will never leave your side until you wish it. You are my everything. I know we have only been together for a short time but I love you." Sora says with tears in his eyes as he put the ring on my finger.
"I love you too." I reply as I look at into his eyes.
