As they pull up to Melody's house. She gets out of the car and walks to the door starting to unlock it. Melody notices that the door is already unlocked and she's surprised.
"Shit. My mom's home." Melody mumbled under her breath.
"Is that a bad thing?" Sora asks barely hearing what she said.
Melody nods in response. As she walks in a bottle flies past their heads, almost hitting both of them.
"Hey! Watch out!" Melody screams. As she gets her words out she's on the ground. Melody's little brother runs to her.
"Sissy, are you okay?" Micheal asks in a little kid voice. Since he is only 5. Melody nods as Sora is helping her up. Melody's sleeves pull up a little and Sora notices how deep the cuts are on her arms and begins to pull Melody's sleeves down. While all this is happening her older sister is laughing at the whole event. Melody gains enough energy to run over and pull back a fist, but she feels Sora right behind her and drops her fist. Melody turns around and darts up the stairs and Sora follows.
As Sora gets upstairs he hears crying coming from the room on the end of the hall.
"Mel, you okay beautiful?" Sora asks as he walks into the room. Melody shakes her head no and continues to cry.
"I'm sorry you had to see that." Melody mumbles.
"It's okay, Mel. I went through the same thing." Sora replies. "I love you." He whispers under his breath. As he says that Melody's head pops up.
"What?" Melody asks.
"Nothing Mel. Nothing." Sora answers.
Melody nods and then puts her head back down.
"Melody, please be my girlfriend?" Sora asks.
Melody lifts up her head and is shocked and blushing.
