"If, only if your marriage wasn't like this.. think I fixed your marriage with Mahir and now you both are married.. in that case what would you do? Would you still wanna back out?", Sumi asked
"Um.. no, I mean why would I in that case? I would rather try to give a chance to our relationship", Bela said slowly
"Exactly! I knew your answer would be this only.. Bela you are worried coz you think your marriage was more like a mistake but trust me it isn't.. everything happens for good and this also.. may be you both are meant to be together?", Sumi said smiling
Bela eyes widen listening to Sumi's words, she looked at mahir who was already looking at her with a different expression which Bela sadly couldn't decode.
"It's ok, now just take rest.. tonight is again gonna be a little tiring for you", Sumi said smiling
Bela just nodded and Sumi left the place once glancing at mahir. Mahir also turned to go and stopped when he felt someone stopping him.
He looked behind and found Bela holding his wrist looking down. He turned around and freeing his hand, he held Bela by her shoulders.
"You want to say something?", Mahir asked softly
"I want to talk to you", Bela said slowly
"I have all my ears Bela, say what you want to", mahir said
"Um.. actually I..", Bela was gonna say but interrupted by a voice
"Anu?", Mahir mumbled recognising her voice
They quickly went down and saw Anu standing along with the rest of the family members.
"Mahir, you.. you married Bela?", Anu asked with moist eyes
"Anu where were you yesterday.. and what happened to you?", Mahir asked seeing Anu's plastered hand and leg
"I had an accident Mahir, I was on the way to the venue and all this happened.. yesterday late night I got consious and called mom, I din't even ask her anything about the marriage coz I was sure that it would have been postponed.. but..", Anu cried speaking
"Anu understand, it's..", mahir tried to speak
"I know, what can I even tell when it's my own mother who cared more about her reputation than her daughter's life", Anu said glaring at her mother to which she rolled her eyes
"See Mrs. Sehgal, I told you that I would get Anu back at any cause, and look.. here she is, now it's simple let's just make mahir and Anu marry secretly and let her be introduced as your daughter-in-law in the reception tonight", Mrs. Mittal said moving forward
"I already made it clear last night Mrs. Mittal, mahir is married to Bela and none can change it now.. if not you, atleast I and my family respect traditions so Bela is and will only be Mahir's wife.. and about today's reception, I know how to handle it", Sumi said firmly
"You..", Mrs. Mittal tried to speak but Anu interrupted
"Enough mom, you already ruined my life, now atleast stop interfering more", Anu tried to sound calm
"Listen mahir, I love you and I still do.. I don't care what happened or who your wife is now, I only care about what you feel and what you think now.. so tell me, do you seriously by your wish want to continue this relationship with Bela? Or as mom said you wanna marry me?", Anu asked with a hope in her eyes
