"His Sorry"
Mahir slowly opened the room door and entered not finding Bela there. He looked aside and found her staring at the sky standing near the balcony attached to his room.
He went and kept his hand on her shoulder. The moment Bela felt a touch on her shoulder she gasped but later calmed down knowing it would be Mahir only.
Seeing Bela not responding anything, he sighed and came infront of her and held her by her shoulders. He saw her eyes which were not ready to look at him, but he noticed her wet lashes and her soft tears flowing down.
Without a word he hugged her tight keeping her head on his chest. Bela though din't utter a word for his actions, neither hugged him back.
"I'm sorry Bela, I know it was my mistake", Mahir spoke out
That's it, Bela broke down and wrapping her arms around his back she cluched his shirt tight in her small arms. Mahir was constantly rubbing her back comforting her but nothing seems to work.
He realised she's way more sensitive than he thought and how badly he hurt her today with his words.
"Please Bela, calm down.. don't cry please", Mahir requested with moist eyes
Bela broke the hug and wiped her tears with her knuckles. Mahir cupped her cheeks and wiping her tears with his thumb placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
Bela closed her eyes feeling his touch and looked at him and was surprised to see his eyes watering.
"You.. you are crying?", Bela asked
"Seeing your tears, may be even I got tears in my eyes", Mahir confessed
"I'm sorry", Bela apologized
"Why are you being sorry Bela? It's me who has to be, sorry for shouting like that before", mahir said being guilty
"Yes, it was your mistake that to shouted at me without listening to me first.. but my mistake also that I haven't informed you anything", Bela said looking elsewhere
"Sorry, I din't knew it was your parents anniversary today", Mahir said cupping her face
"It's ok mahir ji, I should have told you in the first place.. anyways did you observe something?", Bela asked with a small smile
"What?", Mahir asked confused
"You said sorry three time in less that five minutes", Bela laughed
Mahir rolled his eyes at her statement but looking at her smiling wholeheartedly made him smile automatically.
"Whatever, I'm really sorry Bela", mahir said
"It's ok mahir ji, it was my mistake too.. so enough of your sorry sessions", Bela said smiling little
"Hm.. but you were scared that time right?", Mahir asked
"Not only now Mahir ji, I was always scared of you but still my talkative nature doesn't get affected with that", Bela laughed
"You are crazy Bela", mahir said
"Yes I know that", Bela smiled sheepishly
"But where were you till now?", Mahir asked concerned
"Um.. I went to temple in the morning, I was there only till sometime and later went to my office to get some formalities done.. and later went to one orphanage and came home", Bela said
