Hello everyone, I am deeply sorry for the wait, I'm still in school and have other projects in mind so please bare with me.

After I lost my roleplayer for this story I have been unsure on how it goes but I do have an idea for a chapter soon to come.

Hopefully it goes well, I am deeply sorry once again.

After a bit of food was given to Virgil, Roman noticed he ate like he starved for weeks, maybe months, "Since I told you about my past, do you think you could tell me yours?"

Virgil looked at him wiping some of the meat off his mouth, "You sure you want to know about that? It's pretty boring, there's not much to it."

Roman nodded, "I mean it's only fair and if I knew a bit of your history, I can find your sister and bring her here to see you."

Virgil lowered the fish, "Well..." He got a flashback of his family living in a trench, near the Galahan island. They had everything, food, a place to sleep, friends, and happiness. But all of it changed when a new species of shark came along.

The sharks took everything, they ate all of the food in one go, they destroyed their home, and everyone was starving to death. They didn't have anywhere else to go so they couldn't move anywhere, they didn't even migrate around the world.

It got to the point where Virgil only had his sister Olivia by his side. He tried to teach her how to hunt but she was never really interested. He tried and tried but Olivia still ignored it.

It's been two years since their parents died and Virgil had an idea on searching for food that was closer to the surface. Olivia begged him to stay worried she'd lose him too. Virgil still went, but before he left, she gave him a shell necklace. If anything made him anxious or alone, he just had to hold it in his hand and think of her.

Virgil thanked her before leaving, he got so close to the surface he had to quickly close his eyes from it being so bright. He heard something come in fast and opened his eyes seeing a ship. He screeched and swam down quickly covering his mouth looking up as the boat quickly floated away. He came back up to get another look around and found a dock of boats.

He saw so many fish in their boat, it could keep him and Olivia fed for a year. He swam there to get as much fish as possible but the fishermen saw him and tried to capture him. He dove down into the water quickly and swam away before they caught him.

He was cut on the side but he wrapped it with seaweed and it was okay. He went on with his journey and found a ship wreck. He thought there could be some supplies that he could take. Maybe a new treasure for Olivia's human obsession. He didn't find anything useful or any artifacts he could take to Olivia so he left to another part of the island.

He swam around the island until he found a strange place that had nets covering the entrance. He heard voices and tried to get a closer look until the net got caught around his tail. He panicked trying to get it off but failed.

He got more tangled in it and he dropped the fish along with the shell necklace. He screeched then saw something gold and red coming up through the bubbles he was creating.

Virgil looked at Roman after the flashback, "And that's how I met you."

Roman nodded, "I promise, since you can't go, I'll do what I can to find her."

Virgil shook his head, "No, she'll get so scared seeing a random mer who is not from around there. And the sharks, if they see you they might think your their only chance for survival."

Roman pulled him into a hug, "Then I'll bring backup. I can take Janus and ask for some food to give to Olivia. It's gonna be okay."

Virgil leaned into him, "You really think so?"

Roman nodded, "I know so, everything will be perfectly fine."

Virgil was still unsure about the whole thing but agreed, "Please be very careful with her, and bring ear plugs, she might scream."

Roman groaned putting a hand on his head, "Okay okay okay."

Virgil rubbed his arm, "The necklace might give you a hand. Show her the necklace and you should be able to bring her here."

Roman nodded, "Okay, I'll look for it, after I ask Janus to come with me."

Virgil nodded, "Please, please be careful while you're out there. I don't want anyone hurt."

Roman ran his fingers through his hair, "It's gonna be okay, I promise." He gave Virgil a small peck on the cheek before going through the tunnels to find Janus, "Janus, I need your help."

Janus looked at him, "What is it? Everything not okay?"

Roman tilted his head, "What? Never mind, I need your help for a search party."

Patton looked at him, "Why? Who is missing?"

Roman looked at Patton, "I'm on a quest to find Virgil's sister. Her name is Olivia."

Janus nodded, "Alright, do we have a location on where she could be?"

Roman nodded, "In a trench near Galahan island. When we find her we need to give her food, she might be starving too death right now."

Janus nodded, "I'll call Thomas so he can watch over us. It'll be safer if we had shrine who could help if we get lost it something."

Roman nodded, "Good point, we need to go as soon as possible."

Janus was gonna go with him to talk to Thomas but Patton pulled him back, "Wait? What if there is danger there? If there's any-"

Janus covered his mouth, "Sshhh, I'm gonna be okay. Hopefully there won't be any of them."

Patton gave him a worried look but let him go, "Be very careful."

Janus smiled at him, "I'll be back soon." He met with Roman and Thomas seeing the boat was getting set up.

Roman went to the gate seeing the stuff Virgil dropped from when he got there. He searched through the stuff he connected soon finding the shell necklace he talked about. It had a purple shell and pearls from a pearled necklace Olivia found. He swam back to the boat with the necklace around his neck, "Everything ready?"

Thomas looked at him, "Almost, the machine is warning up so I can track you both while you swim down to find her."

Janus took a deep breath looking out into the open water, it's been forever since he swam out there.

Roman looked at Janus, "You alright over there?"

Janus looked at him, "Yes, I'm fine." He obviously lied.

Roman put a hand on Janus's shoulder, "It's gonna be okay. I'm gonna make sure we get home with Olivia safely."

Janus nodded, "Alright."

Thomas got everything ready, "Alright, let's go, before we're to late."

Roman and Janus both nodded and followed Thomas to the area the trench must be.

Janus looked down seeing it's really dark and began to fiddle with his fingers.

Roman noticed this but didn't question, "Come on. We have to go." He swam down
