A fan ending of a fanfic

Anyways)

So I just finished reading Serial Love by sapphicashley and I was like

OwO this ending is nice and sad, sum good angst

And so then I dove into my sea of ideas called my mind cuz I haven't wrote anything in a long time

And wondered what would have happened if...

Suddenly, pineapples

Jk jk I just wondered what would happen if I yeeted one of my Oc's into it cuz I do that alot

And then boom this came up

(Right before the last about 50 or so words in the story)

(Tw: Very sad Luz, self hate, all that jazz, I don't know how to do these things)

Luz couldn't take it anymore. As the full force of what she had down hit her, she dropped to her knees and began to wail.

She had murdered people, and for what? She had even drove someone to suicide, and for what?

She was selfish. Luz was selfish. Her heart dropped down, cracking and shattering into several pieces. Tears dripped down her cheeks and off her chin, and the forest listened to Luz's cries in silence.

She couldn't take it anymore.

She murdered the one person who loved her, because of a STUPID idea.

Luz began hit her head, dropping the knife.

"STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!" She screamed at herself. Why was she so stupid! Her broken sobs echoed throughout the trees.

But nobody came.

She picked up the knife, tears streaming down her face. A idea came to her mind, and a pained smile cane it her face.
Luz raised the knife, point brushing her chest, right above her heart.

She wanted it to stop hurting.

Stop please stop

About to plunge the knife into her chest, a goopy hand grabbed her wrist, smacking the knife away, as she was turned around pulled into a hug.

She froze, in shock. She couldn't see whoever was hugging, but her heart fixed itself slightly.

"Shh, shh, it's okay, I'm here." They said, rubbing circles into Luz's back. The human's lip trembled, her eyes filling with even more tears. She threw her arms around the person, tears falling down.

She screamed all the pent-up emotions she had, burying her face into their neck.

A while passed, the only sounds filling the air besides the forest being sobbing. The one hugging Luz whispered quietly to her, calming the teen down.

Luz, calmed down, was exhausted. Her knees shook, and she fell, falling down while bringing them down. They fell with a squeak.

Luz looked up with drowsy eyes, staring into the pitch-black eyes staring back.

"Um...feel...better...?" They asked hestitantly. Luz nodded quietly. There was a brief silence, broken by the person speaking again.

"M-my name is I-iris..." They said, looking away.

"...Luz."

"Soo...wanna talk for a little bit...?" Luz nodded.

(Time skip cuz why the heck not-)

"That's...a lot." Iris was quiet. She then jumped on a new idea. "Do you want to go back...?"

Luz's head shot up, startled. "What?"

"I MEAN- like not to killing and stuff no you don't want to do that-" Iris took a deep breath and scratched the back of her head nervously. "Like go back in time...?"

"You can do that?!" This prospect excited Luz, she could undo her mistakes! But then a forlorn frown spread across her face. How could she look at her friends the same way again?

"Well, yes..." Iris broke into her thoughts. "Buuuut, I'd need to take something from you..." Iris continued "Like a memory with strong emotions involved...?"

You could almost see the lightbulb go off above Luz, as she grabbed Iris's shoulders. "YES YES!" She shouted, already having a plan. She told Iris the plan, eccentric.

At the end of the plan talk, Iris nodded solemnly. "Okay so, here's how it goes..."

"Luz..." A voice echoed in the human's mind.

"LUZ!" the sudden change, with being shaken violently, woke Luz up, and her eyes shot open, at once spotting the golden eyes of Amity looking at her concerned, hand on her shoulders. Luz shook her head, groggy.

"Wuzza..." She trailed off, suddenly silent. A wave of emotional pain rose up inside of her, and tears instantly began to drop down her face. Amity panicked, attempting to wipe the seemingly non-stop tears flowing out of her eyes.

"Luz! What's the matter-" she was suddenly brought into a hug, Luz blubbering.

(After Luz calms down)

"Amity...?"

"Yeah?"

"I...love you." Luz said quietly.

It was silent.

"I love you too Luz."

At school...

Luz was overjoyed, the love of her life was her girlfriend now! And, she doesn't even remember why she was crying!

"Miss Iris, can you explain why you didn't finish the essay?"

"I'm sorry, sir, I couldn't finish it because of POOR LIFE CHOICES."

Huh, Iris?
