deja POV: I spent my whole christmas break, including my birthday with the amazon's and yes we threw a 'fuckin rager'. honestly i loved training, i loved the amazons but mainly artemis and philippus although everyone helped me train those are the two i spent the most time with, but my time with the amazon's was coming to an end and that also means if i want to prove that i've learned anything i need to beat artemis and diana and then again at the same time. now that sounds like a lot and honestly it was, and did i forget to mention that there's going to be other things happening while i'm fighting, i'm going to have arrows shot at me a lot right? but it was necessary, especially if i want to learn how to hone my powers and abilities. another good thing that came out of this is that my sister got some amazonian train too. only self defense though, nothing like i was doing. but im really happy that my family got to finally do something fun thats money free instead of always having to rely on money.

it was now time for me to fight artemis. she came out with her sword, shield, bow and staff and all i had was my shield. felt a bit unfair but i was confident that i was going to win anyway. artemis walked up to me and we shook hands, after that hippolyta yelled "let the battle begin!".

everyone went silent, the only thing you could hear was birds and water. artemis swung her sword at me and i blocked it with my gauntlet and then i delivered a counterpunch which made her step back a bit, she came at full force and with every hit i was dodging or just about blocking, this made her angry, she started to fight harder and it got hard for me to block her attacks. eventually she knocked my shield out my hand, so now i had no choice but to fight back but just like me she dudge or blocked every hit, i finally landed a blow, i kicked her onto the ground which means i won

here comes out diana with her sword and shield and i didnt even have my shield cause artemis flung it away, diana came charging at me fast, i only had seconds before i could do a counterattack or dodge her, so i waiting to the last minute to swiftly dodge her, now it was my turn, i kicked her in her back then i took a swing at her and she blocked it with her gauntlet and in return she tried to kick me and i grabbed her leg and pinned her to the ground and took her sword and threw her shield. everytime i swung the sword at her she blocked it, eventually she disarmed me and now i had no sword, i started to grab the sword back but i knew if i did that she would take that as an advantage to win and i couldn't let her do that

i used deception, made her think i was gonna go for the sword but in reality i wasn't, i ran towards the sword and she came dashing at me, i used that for a chance to try and trip her and i succeeded but she caught herself, we're just going at it and shes dodging and blocking my punches and im doing the same with hers, until i purposefully got close to the sword and swiped her under her legs, she jumped and i grabbed the sword and pushed her while she was in the air on the ground and i pointed the sword at her neck, i have won everyone started cheering for me. now it was time for the final task but first i need to help diana up, i lowered the sword and helped her up

for the final test was to see how well i was at blocking arrows with my gauntlets. i stood in the middle of the tournament ring one amazon was in front of me, three was on each side of me and two in the back of me. they had to be standing about almost 20 yards away (60 feet). the arrows began shooting, one by one i blocked or dodge an arrow, my arms moving faster than i could ever imagine because of how disunion the shots were

"did you tell her, diana?" hippolyta asked while diana watched closely at deja.

"tell her what" diana asked while trying fake confusion

"you know exactly what i am talking about, she has to know of her full power, Diana." hippolyta said while turning her head to look at diana

"she knows who she is, she knows her father" diana said while looking back at her mother
