Khalil awoke to Deja in the shower and singing. He got up and walked into the bathroom.
"Oh, um i'm almost done." Deja said awkwardly cause of her being interrupted.
"You know, for us to have been together for 5 years.. i have never heard you sing" Khalil said with a small smile.
"Get out" Deja said annoyed.
"Ok.. Ok" Khalil said as he walked out closing the door behind him.
5 minutes later Deja came out the bathroom with her hair in a ponytail.
Deja walked to her suit case and pulled out a t-shirt, jeans and a black leather jacket.
"Are you hungry?" Deja asked as she put her watch and high heel boots.
"Yeah" Khalil said as he put on his clothes also.
Deja grabbed her suitcase and her laptop and put it in her laptop bag, she then walked over to her phone and grabbed it putting it in her back pocket while also grabbing her wallet. "Great, let's go" Deja said as she opened the door.
The two walked to the elevator and went down to the first floor to turn in the keycard.
Deja and Khalil then walked to Deja's car where she put her things in the trunk and walked off, instructing Khalil to follow her.
"Where are we going?" Khalil asked following behind Deja.
"To get food" Deja answered a bit vaguely.
The two eventually ended up at a breakfast stand.
"There's a line, so you have time to think about what you want" Deja said as they got in the line.
Khalil thought for a minute but still didn't know what he wanted. "I'll just get whatever you get" Khalil said while turning his head to look a Deja.
Deja nodded. The people in front of them left so they moved forward to order.
"Hello again, Ms. Simonns. What can i get for you today?" The chef spoke.
"Hi" Deja said with a smile. "Can i get two supreme breakfast burritos and two caramel coffees" Deja added.
"That'll be $15.29" The chef replied.
"Ok" Deja said as she took her card out and paid.
"Coming right up" The man spoke.
5 minutes later and the man handed them their food and Deja and Khalil walked back to the car and started it.
Deja drove out the parking lot and made her way back to D.C.
3 and a half hours later Deja finally arrived to her house and quickly changed into her work clothes and got back in her car and drove to the smithsonian.
upon walking in Deja seen people talking to someone she doesn't remember seeing. She walked towards them to see who it was.
"Hello? can i help you" Deja asked as the woman turned around to look at her.
"Hi, i'm Charlene your new boss" Charlene spoke extending her hand.
"Oh, i'm sorry. Hello, it's nice to meet you" Deja said while taking her hand. "Did you need a tour?"
"Oh, No. i was already showed the place" Charlene said with a smile.
Deja noticed the necklace around Charlene's neck. "Where's that from?" Deja asked.
