We got ready we were in the car heading to tia Lucy's for breakfast. My parents were always fine with me being so I was excited for them to meet Tk .
"Are you nervous?" I asked Tk
"A little." He said looking at me
"Don't worry my parents are very chill they'll love you I'm sure of it if anything I should be nervous my mom loves telling childhood tales ." I said laughing
"In that case I can't wait to hear them." He said looking at me
We arrived at tia Lucy's and went to go find the table where my parents were sitting
"Carlitos!" My mom yelled as she came and hugged me
"Hi ma hi pa ." I said
"Carlos you've got so much taller since we last saw you !" My dad said
"And who is this handsome man ." My mom said
"This is Tk my boyfriend." I said
"Ah nice one ." My dad said as my mom hugged Tk
"Sit sit let's talk !" My mom said
"So Tk what line of work are you in ?"my dad asked him as I noticed he was picking his fingers under the table
"I'm a paramedic." He said
I grabbed his hand from underneath the table rubbing it
"How nice !" My mom said
"I remember when Carlos was a young boy he wanted to be a paramedic.Until he learned that they deal with blood " My mom said laughing
"You never told me that ." Tk said laughing
" thanks ma ." I said sarcastically
We chatted for sometime and we ate for a few hours
"Carlos you found a good one ! You better keep this boy . It was a delight meeting you Tk !" My mom said
" it was nice meeting you to ." Tk said hugging my parents
