I was responding to a call something didn't seem right about it the call that got called in said that a person was yelling and screaming at another citizen .
I pulled up to the scene to see a man beating a women up
"Police! Back away !" I yelled
"Mam are you alright I said bending down to check on the women ."
"I'll be fine." She said getting up
"Fag" the man yelled at the women
"Imma need you to put your hands behind your back sir ." I said getting my cuffs out
"You can't arrest me for calling her a fag !" He said
"Your right I can't arrest you for that but I can arrest you for aggravated assault ." I said grabbing his hands behind his back
"You can't do this ! I only punched her once or twice ." The man yelled
"Which in Austin is aggravated assault so I can do this and I am doing it so I suggest you keep your mouth shut before you get yourself in bigger trouble ."
The man huffed at my response
"Dispatch we're gonna need medical here 32 year old women some cuts that might need stitches ."
"Copy that Reyes ." The dispatcher said
