II woke up feeling the pain of sleeping in the hospital chair set in I rubbed my eyes then looked at Tk who's eyes where open but fluttering open looking at the ceiling
"Tk your awake !" I said standing over his bed as he turned his head to me
"Dad ?Wha- what happened ?"he said in a raspy voice
"You guys were on a call you light was green the other ambulance light was two you guys collided and it was a crash .." this made TK's eyes go wide showing worry
"Tommy ..Nancy are they o-." He said coughing
"There okay they got it bad to but it's okay your okay ." I said trying to calm him down
I saw him looking at Carlos who had his head in the edge of the hospital bed and holding his hand while he slept
"Why don't you wake him up .." I said
"Carlos-."
"Tyler your up ." He said getting out of his chair and kissing TK's head
"Your okay .." Carlos said
"I'm okay baby ." Tk said
"Thank you for being here ." Tk said
"I'll always be here Tyler Kennedy ."
I turned around in shock as Tk huffed
"Okay listen- I allowed the first name the middle name is pushing it ."
"I'm surprised the first name was allowed I'm not even allowed to call you by your first name ."
"I like it when he says it ."
I knew in the moment by seeing the way Tk smiled at Carlos and how Carlos returned it that Carlos wasn't going anywhere
