Owen left me with a peanut butter shake for Tk when he wakes up . I walked up the stairs to see Tk still sleeping peacefully but still looking pale .
I sat in the bed in my side as Tk turned over and looked at me
"Hey baby how are you feeling?"
"Crappy how's your shirt ?" He said quietly
"My shirts fine your dad stopped by he left you a peanut butter shake ."
"Carlos what if I got him sick he has his surgery coming up soon what if I got you sick you just got over a cold ." He said as a tear rolled down his face
" your dad didn't come near you we stayed downstairs and if you got me sick I would rather be here for you and get sick then not be here and not get sick ."I said willing his tear
He later his head in my lap as I played with his hair
"Can we just lay like this for a while ." Tk asked
"Sure tiger ." I said kissing his head
