I woke up it was light outside I sat up carefully to not disturb Carlos I checked my phone to see that it was 10:00 my dads appointment was at 11:00
I got out of bed quietly trying not to wake Carlos I got dressed in some clothes brushed my teeth and combed my hair I walked out of the bedroom closing the door quietly
I arrived at the hospital seeing my dad in the waiting room
"Hey dad how you doing ?" I asked
"Good thank yo-."
"Stop thanking me dad you know I'll always be here"
"Owen strand we can take you now ." The nurse said
"See you later dad ." I said as I sat back in the chair
