Chapter 9

* Bella POV *

"Celia welcome back Home!" Mila screams running towards her. The both of them hug each other as I just stand to the side rolling my eyes.

Ever since Giovani left to do work and Celia left to go to Chicago.

The house has been boring.

All Mila does is spend her time with her boys, nephews, and painting. Not giving a shit about little old me.

"Daddy!" Jordan yells, his father picked him up. Placing a kiss on his forehead, Celia did the same.

It's strange how Celia looks so healthy.

Before she left to go to Chicago she looked sick. When me and Mila asked her about it she told us it was just a minor thing and that she'll be alright. Two days later she left to go to Chicago to take care of some unfinished business.

Now she's back looking healthy and happy.

So strange.

"Bella aren't you going to welcome me back!" Celia walked over to me pulling me into a hug which took me by surprise. Celia never hugs me.

"Did you take care of your unfinished business?" I questioned pulling away from the hug.

"Yes! that is gone now, no need to worry about it," she says smiling.

"Love we should go inside," Giovani says with Jordan on his back giggling.

"Mommy, can you teach me to be a technician like you?" Celia just nodded her head as she walks inside the house with her husband and oldest son.

Before Mila could follow them, I stopped her.

"Mila" she turned around.

"Yes, Bell?"

I hate that stupid nickname, but since it's Mila I'll let it slide.

"Have you noticed anything different about Celia?" she bit her lips, shaking her head no.

"Don't lie Mila" I plead.

"Okay fine" she sighs slumping her shoulder.

"She didn't eat a lot during the last month before she left, she would stay in bed a lot. And worst she lied to my brother about going to Chicago-"

"Wait! hold up she didn't go to Chicago?" Mila shakes her head.

"No, she went to New York to speak to Phil Basin" That asshole. He and his family can go straight to hell.

"Do you think she's having an affair?" Mila nervously asked, an affair doesn't explain how a woman that looked sick months ago would come back looking perfectly fine. Plus Celia isn't the type to cheat. And if she was going to cheat at least she could've done it right with a decent-looking man.

Who the hell would leave a nice man like Giovani. He's rude when he wants to be but nice overall and isn't afraid to show his emotions.
