Chapter 20

Hayden

When I reached my destination, I got out and made my way through the bar. When I spotted, Austin he got out of his seat and pulled me into a hug.

"It's been a while," Austin nodded his head grinning, he tap the bar and a brunette bartender came to his aid. "Bea this is Hayden-"

"Hayden Valentino, I know." She interrupts extending her hand. "It's nice to finally meet you, Mister Valentino." She whispers smiling.

"I've heard so much about you, "I chuckled and sat down on the chair and turn to Austin. "Good things I hope,"

She taps the counter."So what can I get you, Mister Valentino?"

"A whiskey Neat," She nodded her head and went to pour me a drink. I couldn't help but stare at the butterfly tattoo on the left side of her shoulder.

"She's single."I hear Austin whisper. "What?" I question raising my eyebrows.

Austin smirks and shook his head, going silent when she brought my drink."If you need anything else, Mister Valentino just tap the bar." Before she could leave, I grab her hand not too rough.

"It's Hayden," She smiles and Austin sends her a wink which made her roll her eyes.

"Dude she's totally into you!" Austin whisper, so only I could hear him. I sip my drink and gave him a look. "You know I can't."

Austin scoff. "So when can you?" Shrugging my shoulders, my eyes caught hers.

She just smiles and turns back to making some random guys drink.

"Is it because of Blake?" Austin questions.

I shook my head. "No,"

"Then why can't you?" Yeah, why? Well, for instance, I'm in the Mafia. I can't have a family and also be in the mafia. Maybe in another life, where I don't have to worry about killing or enemies kidnapping my future wife and kids.

"One word, Mafia." Austin shook his head and rolled his eyes. "No, you're just afraid to love someone,"

I laughed and turn to look at him. "Afraid?"

Austin nods his head. "Yeah, pussy."

I laughed, but deep down I know he was somewhat right.

I look at one of my men from afar. Yeah, it's definitely, the mafia.

Looking at the whiskey in my hand. I drank it all down and tap the bar. "Let's get drunk,"

Austin chuckled. "Fuck yes!"

And that was exactly what we did. I ended up losing count of how many glasses of alcohol I had.

I watch Austin from afar as he sat with some random girls, laughing.

"Sir we have to leave," one of my men said, hesitating to grab my hand.

I comply not, even bothering to tell Austin I was leaving. I told one of my men to get him to his grandma safe.

One of my men placed me into the car and halfway through the drive, I started to remember the fight I had with my brother so I took my phone out and called him giggling.

"Hello?" my brother Roman says not sounding heartbroken even do we fight. Fucker.

"Do you know it's not hard to find an asshole in the entire world? Well, I found one and that's you." I said not sure what I just said.
