Chapter 13
Hope POV
When I woke up, my phone said it was 4 am. Fucking universe.
It's still dark outside, and I'm here lying on my bed. I let out a groan, getting out of my bed. I took my time in the shower. When I was done, I got out of the shower. Quickly grabbing the counter holding myself up when I almost slipped.
I grab my toothbrush, brushing my teeth. After brushing my teeth, I then picked my clothes, which were a plain white sweater and black knee shorts. I didn't do much to my hair.
I made my way downstairs, the house wasn't decorated but I could smell freshly baked cookies and cake. Grandma was around the oven pulling out what looks like a tray of cookies. When she saw me, she smiled at me. She looked okay.
"Good morning grandma!" I said kissing her cheeks.
"Morning Hope!" I sat down on a chair and grandma gave me cookies.
"Thanks," I mutter biting a piece. I turn around to see who was coming down the stairs, Hayden and the twins.
They both walked in, each placing a kiss to the side of my head and said good morning. Rome reach out to grab a cookie but got hit on the hand.
"What do you say?" Grandma scold, pointing the spoon at him.
"Per favore can I have one?" He asks, Roman smiles beside him loving this.
"Take it," he takes one and sat down sticking his tongue out at Roman.
"There's the birthday boy!" Jay walks into the kitchen with Jordan and Blake behind him. Hayden hugs him and messed up his hair a little bit.
Jay sends me a smile before grabbing a cookie, Rome watched closely waiting to see if grandma would hit him with her spoon but she didn't which made him frown.
"What's got you looking all sad Rome?" Alex asked walking into the kitchen. Rome removes Alex's hands from around his shoulders and glared at him.
"I'll be in my room, enjoy your day Jay." He says walking out.
"What's up with him?"Dean asked sitting down in the seat Rome was sitting on.
"I have no idea." Roman answers sneaking a cookie from out the tray.
"Good morning boys!" Celia says walking into the kitchen. She walks up to hug Jay who looks awkward.
"Buon Compleanno son!"She smiles pulling him into a hug.
[Happy birthday son]
"Thanks, mom," Jay says then turns to Blake.
"Is it okay if I invite some of my friends over?" Blake think it over first then nodded his head. Which made Alex's mouth go wide open, he then did the most unexpected thing. He slammed his hand on the table.
"How come his friends get to come over and not mine?!" he shouts staring at the ground as he asks his question.
"Because your friends are crazy-"
"But Blak-"
"End of conversation!" Blake says raising his voice, which made Alex sit back down immediately.
"Great, I'll invite them." Jay gestures for me to follow which is exactly what I did.
"Blake and the others are going out tonight so we are going to a party," he whispers walking away before I could say no or ask questions.
