hey hey y'all!
this is actually the short story that i wrote before deciding to split up the girls and make a book out of them, you will see some things that changed. but i just thought i'd share how this story came to be in the first place. so i guess this is kinda a little "summary" if you will! :)))

Jackie smiled oh so big looking to Jack as he butt in and answered the interviewer.
"We have 12 girls."
"Meave is 22. She's off with her fiancé training to become a Navy Blue Angel, a dream job of her's. One of the first women. She played violin growing up, and was amazing at it. Living in Hyannis, MK was known for her talent, playing in anything & everything on the island. Always been the leader of the 12 girls, intuitive, self disciplined, hard working, and oh so easygoing. It's not hard to make her smile. When you need something done Meave will do whatever you want with 110 percent every time."
"Then comes the older set of twins, Victoria & Lucinda. They're 19, and have been away from home for the past 3 years training at the School of American Ballet in New York, with dreams of becoming Radio City Rockettes. Oh how we've always looked forward to what these two had in their future. They do have a couple of things in common, both have always been independent & dedicated. But after those things, they are the moon and the sun. Tori is outgoing and rambunctious, she loves a good time. Lucy is more of her follower, and she's quite okay with that, quiet and kind, known for caring for her sisters in times of need & going out of her way for others."
"Number 4 is Rosalind, she's 17. We call her Rosie, she's the most amazing artist I've ever seen, most of the art in our home is hers. People call her our "different child" because she truly stands out amongst the other girls. As a jump year senior in highschool, she's graduating a year early and plans to become an art teacher, establishing other children's love like her's. Overall her imagination and mind are absolutely amazing. She's extraordinarily to say the least."
"Jack's mini me, Naomi Nell, Nelly, who is 16 pushing 30. She's our tomboy, plays water polo & football on the boys teams at her school, the only girl. Nelly is stubborn & sarcastic yet charming, intelligent, & so so funny. As well as being an amazing public speaker, she's comfortable with big crowds, navigating them with charm every single time. At 16, she looks forward to the rest of her highschool career, and hopes to one day become a politician like Jack & Bobby."
"Then there's sweet little Abigail Anne, or Abi. She's 14 and has the most beautiful light haired curls and blue eyes. Growing up she was the easiest baby and kid. Loves to be alone, often being found on the beach with a book. She reads anything and everything she can find, reading multiple chapter books a month at high rates. She comprehends and excels tremendously. Abi loves everybody, is reliable and very easy to talk to being all inclusive and caring all the time."
"Number 7 lands on Evelyn, 12 years old. Evie decided to follow in my footsteps and became an equestrian rider. Her stallion is named after my dad, who happens to be one of her favorite people on the earth. She is tremendously competitive and makes the sport her entire life, like I did. That kid is resilient to say the least, her walls are covered from ceiling to floor in ribbons upon ribbons. She's known for her pink hair ribbon, one she's worn for awhile in honor of my mom. One of the girls that never settles for anything other than 100 percent."
"The younger set of twins, Juliette and Charlotte, both 10, both polar opposites. Julie is named after me and it shows very clearly, she loves fashion and being attached at my hip. She's witty, optimistic, and creative. At 10 years old she could easily out sew me, most of her clothes being handmade. And Charlie, she absolutely loves Nelly and looks up to her tremendously. You could find her with cousins Chris and Max rolling around in the dirt somewhere and playing soccer. But either way, these two are best friends, if Julie needs a model, Charlie is there and if Charlie needs a goalie, well, Julie will try her best. They look uncanny to each other but it's ultimately hard to get them mixed up in the end."
"Our sweet Harriet Hope Kennedy. We never could've known the outcome of her future when she was born but looking back it seemed like a sign from God that her middle name be Hope. Hattie was diagnosed with Stage III Metastatic Osteosarcoma last year. Which is a rare form of bone cancer that has completely debilitated our little girl. Life isn't what we wanted for her, yet she is the happiest, smiliest girl I've ever met. Oh so optimistic all the time and determined to break boundaries. She's also a singer, a beautiful one for that matter, leading our church choir every single Sunday. Despite all her pain and suffering, she gets up every morning with a smile, goes to school as long as possible, supports her sisters in anyway she can, and goes to bed singing."
"GG, or Gweneth Grace, she's 7 & the baker in the family. Gwen is always ready to help out in the kitchen and looks forward to grasping anything and everything that you show her. She's amazing at memorizing recipes and reciting them back to you when you need them. She can be sneaky as she's still young, but most of the time she's lovable and sweet. In her free time she plays piano and absolutely loves it. As well as being in school, second grade. She's sociable and an amazing friend, collecting each and every kid in her class into her group.
"And finally, we have our last girl. 5 year old Kathrine Kay. Katie is our rambunctious, energetic, curious, little girl who keeps us on our toes 24/7. She's known for running you ramped, yet making you laugh and smile all the time. Truly, she is such a light in everything. Her and Rosie are attached at the hip so it's no surprise she's slowly wearing off on the 5 year old. She is obsessed with flowers and is amazingly smart for her age. Kathrine can pick up just about any flower on the island and tell you things that you never thought a 5 year old would understand. She is our last and let's just say we definitely went out with a bang."
Jackie finished and looked to Jack smiling as the girls joined their parents in the living room.
"If you lost count, that's a grand total of 14. A big family, a big team, with a big heart."
