I quietly waited outside our classroom while looking around. Our teacher gave us a quiz for the first day of school and if you're already done, you can now go and take your lunch. I was the first one who finished which made me go out first. I don't know anyone here since Kalani and I just transferred here in Lee Academy for college.

We don't have any problem at Ice Academy. We just really wanted to study under Lee Academy since a lot of people we know graduated here. Maganda raw kasi rito dahil bukod sa malaya kang gawin lahat ng gusto mo, lahat ng kurso ay nandito. Besides, Kuya Lazarillo graduated here. Isa 'yon sa mga rason ni Kalani kaya niya gusto rito mag-aral. She wants to study where her future husband graduated.

Huminga ako ng malalim habang naghihintay kay Kalani na matapos sa pag-sasagot sa quiz na ibinigay sa amin. Halatang nahihirapan siya dahil biglaan lang naman ang pag-quiz ng teacher naming 'yon. Lahat naman kami ay hindi 'yon inaasahan. Sadyang natandaan ko lamang ang binasa ko nang mag-advance reading ako kahapon.

Nasa labas lamang ako ng classroom, nakatayo habang hinihintay ang kaibigan ko, nang may lumabas na. Nilingon ko iyon dahil siya ang sumunod sa 'kin. Napakurap ako nang makita ang boyfriend ni Lovely na nakatayo sa tabi ko.

Mas matangkad siya sa akin kaya naman ay bahagya pa akong napatingala para lamang makita siya. Naabutan ko siyang nakatingin na rin sa akin na para bang kinikilatis niya ang buong pagka-tao ko. Tiningnan ko lang siya pabalik habang ginagawa niya iyon dahil wala naman akong kasalanan o problema sa kaniya. Ni wala nga akong ginagawa sa kaniya dahil kanina ko lang siya nakita.

"Have we met before?" Tanong niya habang nakakunot ang noo.

Mabilis ding kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa tanong niyang 'yon. Sigurado akong hindi ko pa siya nakikita rati at ngayon lang talaga. I stared at him for a few seconds with my furrowes eyebrows before shaking my head at him.

"I haven't seen you before until earlier." I honestly said while looking at him in confusion.

I really didn't see him yet. Kanina lang. Sigurado ako dahil hindi naman ako makakalimutin. I have a sharp memory.

Steve, Lovely's boyfriend, tilted his head while still looking at me. His eyebrows were furrowed while his lips were pursed like he was trying to remember where he saw me. I watched how he licked his well-shaped reddish lips while his dark brown eyes looked at me.

"I really saw you before..." He whispered before nurrowing his eyes at me. "Have you been in some party? While wearing some... uh... Blue dress with your hair in a bun?"

I weirdly looked at him before answering his question. "I've been in a lot of parties because of our family business. I also wore a lot of different types of blue dress with my hair in a bun. But I'm pretty sure I didn't saw you before."

Steve didn't look satisfied of what he got from me. He was about to talk again when Kalani and Lovely went out from the room. I saw how Kalani nurrowed her eyes at Steve when she saw how my eyebrows furrowed at him, while Lovely hugged her arms around his boyfriend's arm.

"What's up?" Lovely asked when she saw how I looked at his boyfriend. "Did Steve bugged you, Laura?"

"What the fuck?" Steve reacted as he looked at his girlfriend in disbelief.

I looked at Lovely, who laughed at her boyfriend. She looked at me too and gave me her soft smile which made me looked at Steve again before looking at her again.
