"Putang ina. Ang gwapo naman!" I heard Oliver yelled when he saw his friend entered the classroom.

I looked at the entrance of our classroom and saw Steve entered the room. He looked so fresh with his suit. Steve showed his middle finger to his friend as soon as he heard Oliver's voice.

I looked at my phone again when he started to talk with Oliver. Maayos na si Steve. Umayos na siya nang dahil sa kapatid niya. Inayos niya na ulit ang buhay niya nang makita niyang umiyak at sumigaw sa harapan niya si Stella dahil sa nangyaring aksidente sa kaniya noon. Halos mag-wala na rin kasi si Stella noon sa hospital dahil sa nangyari sa Kuya niya. Alam ko 'yon dahil nang bisitahin ko si Kuya Laus sa hospital, iyon ang nadatnan ko.

Alam ng lahat ng estudyante kung gaano kagalit ang mga kapatid ni Steve kay Lovely dahil sa nangyaring aksidente na 'yon. Siya ang sinisisi ng dalawa dahil sa nangyari. Alam ko 'yon dahil aksidente kong narinig ang pag-uusap nina Ivan at Stella noon sa library. Sinabi lahat ni Stella ang sama ng loob niya sa best friend niya. Ngayong third year na kami, inayos ni Steve ang buhay niya nang mapagtantong hindi lang kay Lovely umiikot ang mundo niya. Maybe, he realized that he has his family who was worried about him.

Because of what happened, Steve started to ignore all the girls. He was just talking with some of us when he needed for his grades. We all understand him. He got a friend too. It was the transferee who talked to him first for a pairwork. Oliver transferred a month after Steve started to fix his life in second year. Mabilis silang nagkasundo dahil parehas lang sila ng ugali. Mahilig sa mga biro at mangolekta ng mga relo.

I pursed my lips when Orlando didn't reply to my messages to him. He kept on ignoring my messages when in fact I know his schedule very well. Wala siyang klase ngayong mga oras na 'to sa law school kaya bakit hindi siya makasagot sa mga text ko?

Orlando was my boyfriend. Kalani was the one who introduced him to me. Orlando and I met in a bar where Kalani was drinking. Kalani was drunk those times and I was the one who was called by the bartender of that bar. Doon ko lang din nalaman na si Orlando ay kaibigan ni Kalani dahil sa palagi nitong pagpunta sa bar na 'yon. Orlando was about to take Kalani home when I arrived and we met.

Kalani was our bridge, he said.

I stopped texting Orlando when Kalani arrived with our professor. She was pouting while knotting her eyebrows when she sat beside me. I was about to ask her why when our teacher announced that we were having a long quiz which explained the frown on Kalani's face. She saw the papers that our prof was holding.

The long quiz was easy. Steve was the first one who finished which made me the second one to finished the long quiz. I went outside the classroom to wait Kalani when I saw Steve leaning on the railings in front of our classroom.

He dyed his hair black. He has a natural dark brown hair, but he dyed it wiith black. I don't know why, but it looked good on him. He was wearing his new favorite expensive wristwatch that was being flexed because of his folded sleeves. He looked good with his gold specs.

I looked away when his friend came. I know we weren't really friends because Lovely was the one I was friends with, but I was a bit disappointed that he couldn't remember me. It felt like he forgot everything and everyone that has a connection with Lovely. I didn't bother to make him remember me though. Wala akong balak dahil wala namang mangyayari kung ipapaalala ko sa kaniya kung sino ako. Nothing will change. Nothing bad will happen.
