Mama called the media for a press con. She announced the wedding with Tita Sally, who answered the most common questions that were being asked by the public. They also cleared that they don't have any idea of me being pregnant since they also didn't know that Steve and I have a thing, that I didn't know too. Maybe they just said that so our image won't gain any dirt that the enemies were waiting to see.

Since the Lees are popular these days, the news about our wedding spread like a wildfire. Except for the fact that the Lee family is really popular, our families are both known because of our businesses. In fact, mas kumalat pa and balitang ikakasal na kami ni Steve kaysa sa balitang nag-collab ang dalawang kumpanya.

Since our wedding is pretty hot, our parents made sure to do it right away. Gusto pa nga sana ni Tita Sally na next year na lang ituloy ang kasal dahil kakakasal lang din ni Ate Sandra noong nakaraang mga buwan pero hindi pumayag sina Mama't Papa, lalo na sina Kuya. Gusto nilang ikasal agad ako kay Steve dahil buntis na ako at ayaw ni Mama na malaki ang tiyan ko sa mga litratong makukuha sa kasal. They want the best wedding for me. I even think that Mama and Papa are so ready to spend a million just for my wedding. Maybe, my brothers too. They always want the best for me even though they don't want me to get married yet at this age.

The preparation for my wedding took a month. Mama was rushing them, but still changing a lot of things when she thought of the best for me. The Lee family was quiet and just let my parents change and rush it since I was the woman amongst us, their son. But since Steve is their only son, they're giving their best to make our wedding the best for us. I even heard Mama talking with Tita Sally that they will call professional photographers and videographers for the wedding. They will even film a short video clip for the wedding day. They even invited a lot of people that I barely know but didn't complain because I can't. It's fine. Wedding happens once a lifetime. I will let them do whatever they want to my wedding since they still ask for my opinion and permission.

"This is so shocking talaga! As in, so shocking! I mean, yes, we shipped you together, but hearing you getting pregnant by him, really shocked me! Tapos, may kasalan pang magaganap!" Kalani exaggeratedly yelled while helping to wear my wedding gown.

"I am surprised, too," I whispered.

"Gaga! May nangyari sa inyo ni Steve tapos ay sasabihin mo sa 'kin na nagulat ka rin?! Maniwala naman sa 'yo, Lalaura!" Kalani hissed, making me winced at her.

"We just did it once, Kalani. Once," I said before looking at my reflection in the mirror in front of me.

Kalani just snorted at me before looking at my reflection, too. She pursed her lips as her hand leaned on my bare shoulder. When I looked at her reflection, I saw her eyes shedding some tears while staring at me. She looked away when our eyes met at the mirror before she chuckled.

"I always thought that I'll be the one who will get married first before you, not you, getting married before me. Akala ko rin ay ako ang unang magkaka-anak dahil ako 'yung malandi sa 'ting dalawa. Siguro kung pinatulan ako ni Lazarillo dati pa lang, pito na anak ko ngayon." Kalani said, chuckling.

"Akala ko rin, ikaw ang unang maikakasal sa 'ting dalawa." I stated.

"Aminado naman ako na malandi ako pero gago ka, Laura. 'Wag mo namang ipamukha." She said, glaring at me.

I just answered her with my chuckles as she helped me tried my remaining wedding gowns. Ilang araw na lang ay ikakasal na ako at nandito si Kalani para tulungan akong pumili ng wedding gown na gagamitin ko sa kasal. Dalawa ang pipiliin naming dalawa dahil dalawa ang gagamitin ko sa kasa. Isa sa mismong kasal sa simbahan at isa naman sa reception ng kasal. Mama wants me to wear a long wedding gown on my wedding day while my brothers want me to wear a simple wedding gown which made us decided to just wear two wedding gowns at my wedding. I don't complain since I don't have any complaints about it. A wedding only happens once in a lifetime and I should do and give the best wedding that I deserve. Every woman deserves the best wedding.
