The other side thought that they already everything on their hand because of Kalani's statement. They thought that hearing Kalani's statement that Orlando cheated on me can clean the accusations to Orlando that he abused me, but they are all wrong.

It was a bait.

Kuya Lazarus made Kalani's testimonials a bait. My lawyer wanted the Escalantes to open up the cheating history of Orlando instead of us, opening the topic. Kuya wanted to make sure that they will be one who will dig their own crave by dragging the cheating topic.

And they did. They took the bait.

"Witness, by any chance, do you recognize the person I was sitting with earlier?" Kuya Lazarus asked Behati, the girl that was caught making out with Orlando.

"Y-Yes, I know her," She nervously answered.

"Are you friends with her?"

"No, I just know her from pictures," She answered, glancing at me.

"Are these pictures from social media or from Orlando's phone?" Kuya Lazarus directly asked the question he wanted to ask.

I saw how Behati glanced at Orlando, who was already closing his eyes, before she curled her fist under the table in front of her. She pursed her lips before looking at Kuya Lazarus, who was patiently waiting for her to answer.

"From social media..." She answered, making Orlando opened his eyes and looked at her. Her eyes met his eyes which made her looked away. "And from Orlando's phone."

I heard gasps from the audiences that were interested of Orlando's case since he's really a famous criminal lawyer because of the big case he won. Kalani was right. It affected his career big time in the positive way that most of his past clients went to his trials to give their supports for him. They believed that he's innocent and just got accused because of jealousy that I don't know where it came from.

"That's all," Kuya Lazarus remarked before he sat down beside me.

Attorney Escalante walked in front Behati, who looked scared at her, but managed to maintain her poise. She was confidently standing in front of us like she was holding the ace card. She smiled before starting to question the witness.

"Are you close to the defendant?" Attorney Escalante directly asked.

"Not that much," Behati answered.

"How close are you two, then?"

"Close enough to make out," Kuya Lazarus said while scanning his papers.

Kuya Lazarus stood, ignoring the stares he got from talking. He walked towards the judge and gave them a flashdrive, making Attorney Escalante furrowed her eyebrows in both confusion and annoyance.

They put the flashdrive in their laptop to show what was in it. When it was already ready, Kuya Lazarus opened a file, showing the photos of Orlando and Behati making out in the parking lot. The audience negatively reacted, for Orlando's side, when they saw it. Kuya Lazarus faced the audience while pointing at the projector.

"These are the proofs of the statements from the witness earlier. These are captured at the day the victime broke up with defendant. I can prove that because I'm the one who captured these to send these to my sister, the victim." Kuya Lazarus explained before replacing Attorney Escalante's place in front of Behati. "Witness, can you confirm what was happening in these photos?"
