My headphones are at maximum volume, but I can still hear the demanding knocks on my door. The Killers are playing full swing. Brandon Flowers never lets me down.

I look around my new room. Well, the guest room. I've been crashing here since the first night. I don't know, I guess I really like it. Dad said I can remodel it, but in all honesty, I love it the way it is. And a few decorations, like maybe some posters, a desk- a beanbag! I want a beanbag in here! I've always wanted one. Besides that, it's perfect. The knocks turn into bangs. I groan in frustration and remove my headphones. "What!"

No answer.

A tiny part of me fears it's actually Mom. No bueno.

I stand to open the door a little too quickly and as I turn the knob, the door is forcefully pushed to slam me against the wall. "Miss me?" I hear Ava's irritating voice.

Jesus.

"Uh, Ted? Where'd you go? Teddy?"

- "I'm definitely not behind the door." I groan. I hear her giggle. "What's behind curtain number one?" Ava closes the door to reveal me. "Ta-da!" She makes jazz hands. She's wearing sandals, a little pink blouse, her hair in a high curly pony tail and a white little skirt. If she weren't freaking annoying, I'd actually say she's pretty.

Oh, well.

"What do you want." I exhale and remove my headphones from around my neck. "Nothing. I just want to hang out with my favorite cousin. Yes, cousin because that's exactly what we are, right?"

- "Yep."

- "And there's absolutely no way I can change your mind, right?"

- Nope."

- "So... Not even," I'm not looking at her, and I still get shivers.

No... she didn't just do what I think she did.

I quickly turn and I can literally, physically feel my face become red.

"Ava!" I yell before covering my eyes. Oh my God! This is not fucking happening to me right now! She's just laughing! And she's not wearing a bra!

What in the fuck!

"Ava."

- "Yes?"

- "Put your shirt back on."

- "Hmm. No, I don't think I will."

- "Ava, put your fucking shirt back on. Please."

- "Okay, but you have to look at me first."

- "What!? Ava, I'm not gonna do that!"

- "I'm waiting."

That's it. I've fucking had it with this girl. I don't think I've ever gotten repulsed by anyone this badly before.

"Not only are you insisting on having something between us, but you're choosing to degrade yourself to get what you want?" I turn to her. My eyes firmly kept up. And I have no trouble with it. Good job, me.

I grab the duvet from my bed and forcefully pull her to me, wrapping her in it. "If you think I'm the kind of guy that can spot a couple of breasts and get on all fours, you're pathetically wrong!" I growl as I toss her to the bed.

I pace back and forth in desperate need of processing this. Okay. It's just my girl-cousin and I. In my locked bedroom. And she just flashed me. How the fuck does that even happen? Someone please, paint me a scenario of how in the fuck did I get myself into this!

I go into the restroom, wash my face, gulp down some needed water, and return. Ava is just sitting, clutching the duvet to her. Oh, look at that. The princess is upset. "What am I supposed to do? You never notice me." Her voice attempts persistency, but instead quivers. I can't help but laugh. "Oh, I notice. I notice damn well. Every, single, fucking day, I notice when you purposely brush up against me. I notice when you wear small clothes, I notice your overly exposed cleavage, I notice the innuendoes, I notice everything! And it's fucking disgusting, and annoying, and un-fucking-bearable!" She's gaping at me with her face flushed.
