☆Christian☆

"Christian, he knows everything."
- "I know, Soph. Did he tell you where he was going?"
- "To John. He left an hour ago. Try calling him instead."
"Thank you, hon. If anything, please. Keep me updated."
- "Of course." I hang up and blow air out of my cheeks. "Where could he be?" Ana is pacing my office. She's been shivering non stop for maybe an hour, and I'm not liking that one bit. Mothers, if not all women commonly have a sixth sense.

"Easy, baby. He's just upset. Let's just let him come home when he feels ready." I rub her cold arms and hug her. "No, Christian. Something's wrong."
- "Now, why would you say that?"
- "I don't know... I feel it. Christian, my baby!" She sobs into my chest and it breaks my heart that I can't do shit about it.

Where could he be, damn it! I'm pulling this tough father façade but Anastasia's right. Something feels wrong. Very wrong.

Shit! Worst case scenario was any of my kids with the knowledge of my tainted past. You can't run away from it, Grey. No matter how fucking high you live. It was going to catch up with your miserable ass sooner or later. Now he's run off somewhere in Seattle, with no knowledge of the danger we're all in.

"I'll call Flynn. You need some rest. Go lay down."
- "No, Christian. I won't rest until my son is by my side!" She's as stubborn as ever. But she's strong. My Ana. I pull her to me and kiss her forehead.

I release her, take the phone and dial Flynn.

"Christian? My, what a surprise."
- "Flynn. Has my son gone to you?"
- "Ted? No, I don't believe I've seen him. Why? What is it?" I clench my eyes tightly. "Fuck." I growl. "Christian, what's wrong?"
- "He ran off. He was supposed to show up in your office. He found out about me and Ana."

Ana stands quickly, trembling with her hands close to her chest. I turn to her and shake my head. She clutches her chest and starts to cry.

"Oh, bloody Hell, Christian." Flynn gasps incredulously. "He must've been quite upset. Perhaps he's just run off to a store, or a public area, or a transit. He couldn't have gotten far."

- "Flynn, you know very well Elena has been threatening to 'pay a visit'. It's dangerous out by himself wherever he is!" I growl. "Ted is a strong young man, Christian."
- "He's just a kid!" I bang the phone back on it's place. I rest both hands on the desk, my head buried in my shoulders.

God, please! I just got him back! Don't do this to me!

★Ted★

I feel groggy. Shit, I had the worst nightmare... What?

My hands are tied. I struggle and pull my arms, but it hurts. Ropes? I can't see anything, I'm blindfolded! "Help!" I half yell, half mumble. "You're awake. Morning, sunshine." I feel the blindfold pulled from my head and a bright light blinds me. I squint for focus. Elena is seated on a wooden chair in front of me, her long legs crossed. It looks like a warehouse. There's boxes surrounding us. "Where am I? What did you do to me!?" I yell with fear pouring out of me. Adrenaline pumps through my veins and I'm holding back tears.

"Shhh. Relax, Teddy. We'll be here awhile. I just want to teach you a little lesson or two I taught your father when he was your age."
- "My father? Wait... my age? What are you talking about?"
- "Well, Teddy. Your daddy was your age when I introduced him to the pleasures of BDSM. But then your whore, gold digging mother goes and ruins it. Filling his head with shit like love, and care, and blah blah blah."
- "You did this to Dad?" She nods proudly. "And I'm about to do it to you." Fear fills me to the brink.

A door opens harshly. It's Adam. He has a backpack. "Got it, Mrs. Lincoln. What the heck do you have in here? Oh, Ted. You're awake." He looks at me with no trace of guilt. I glare at him. "Why?" I whisper. "Sorry, bro. I need the money. I can take care of my mom with the money we'll demand from your parents. Then we'll let you go. No sweat." He shrugs.
