A few days pass as you learn your way around the Dreamsmp. You meet some people and like some more than others, basically what you did in the last village you were in minus the fact that they chased you out with knives when they learned of your powers.
By the end of the first week you felt a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people in the Dreamsmp, and all the names to try and remember. You moved into your little cottage near the edge of L'manburg and met the people who lived there.
Especially Tommy and Tubbo.
The child with the red and white T-shirt would relentlessly annoy you as you went to your day to day activities, but it couldn't help but remind you how he was the little brother you never received. Then he would steal some of your stuff and you would chase him down and forget the thought, swearing in your head how you would never ever want any siblings. You tried to put a stop to it by outright telling him, and then threatened him to a sword fight, but he would continue to steal stacks of wood and cobblestone. They weren't all that important but you didn't like to be stolen from.
You thought Tubbo was sweet and very kind, but you felt like too much was put on his shoulders for his age. He was only 17, but he was already the president of a blown-up country and had to deal with people's everyday problems when he already had to worry about his own. It shocked you a bit to learn that Tommy and Tubbo were good friends but then you thought of it again. They did say that opposites attract. (NOT IN THE SHIPPING WAY EW)
You thought back of when Karl told you the story of L'manburg and how Tubbo and Tommy were huge characters in it. They were just kids, and yet they had gone through much more than anyone should've in a lifetime.
You tried to push the thought away as it would usually ruin your bright day, but you kept an eye on them just in case.

One day, about 2 weeks after you stepped foot on the Dream Smp, You were walking by yourself on the wood walkway. You were heading to grab materials to decorate your house and possibly some more materials to expand the area of your house when you met two people.
Badboyhalo and Skeppy.
You were just minding your own business, following Tommys strange rules to walk on the Prime path, never sprint or run, when suddenly a large shadow covered you.
You whipped around and saw a large man with pitch black skin and glowing eyes looking down at you. A man just a few centimetres taller than you stood next to him, but the side by side comparison made him look tiny.
"Hey, are you new here?" the large man asked, "I'm Badboyhalo by the way."
"I-I am, um... I'm (Y/N)" you stuttered. You suddenly felt on edge near him for no reason, and nervous.
"Skeppy." The shorter man nodded his head towards you. He wore a blue sweater and darker blue pants that reminded you of diamonds and lapis, "Do you know where I can get spruce wood?" You asked.
"Yeah, we're actually heading that way. Do you wanna come with us?" Bad asked. You mumbled a yes and walked with him. He was abnormally tall, and must've been at least over 9 feet. He caught you staring at him and you quickly looked down, "I'm not human."
Well no shit Sherlock, how long did it take you to figure that out?
Shush, quit being rude!
"Oh, then what are you?" you asked confused, ignoring the two voices in your head. "Well I'm a demon, explains my skin tone and my glowing eyes." He smiled at you revealing sharp pearly white teeth. You returned a polite smile, though you felt unnnerved by the unnatural white glow of his eyes, and turned to Skeppy, "What about you?"
"Me? Oh I'm human." His hair put small shadows on his face and you noticed the diamond earings that were in his ear, "Wow, you've got diamond earrings?" you said. He nodded and touched them subconsciously, obviously very proud of them, "My family was pretty rich, and my inheritance was these and a few diamond rings."
Inheritance?
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that." You mumbled. "Oh no! They're not dead, I just moved out and they gave me it." You felt your cheeks heat with embarrassment as you walked on. You were about to pass a building when they stopped you, "Hey do you want to meet the Egg?"
"The what?"
"The Egg! We found them in that building over there, do you want to meet them?" Bad said excitedly.
You should meet them
For once I agree, you should
But your gut screamed at you to run away, to get away from whatever was in that building.
"I've got a bit of a busy schedule today guys, So I can't stop to chat with anyone." You forced a smile onto your face and began to walk away, trying not to speed up or to run though every bone and muscle in your body screamed to.
"Are you sure? The Egg would love to talk with someone like you." Skeppy said tilting his head. A red flash crossed his eyes.
You shook your head and waved them goodbye and without a second glance you walked down the path. Once you were out of sight you took a deep breath. You couldn't help but wonder what the Egg was though? You knew whatever it was it couldn't be good seeing the way just being near that building sent you into chills, but the curse that came with it. The curse of not knowing what something was.
'Is not knowing what something is, a form of torture in itself?' you thought as you walked towards the trees, axe in hand. Maybe you would go and visit the Egg, just not at the moment, not right now.
Because whatever was in that building, you would have to prepare for.
