"Sooo, what do you want to talk about?" You asked Tommy as the two of you sat on a hill.

There was a long pause before Tommy answered, "So y'know how I was exiled for a month or so?"

You nodded, yes.

"Then I came back, had this whole war against Techno and withers and shit, and eventually fought Dream with Tubbo."

"Yes, but what has this got to do with me?" You asked.

"While we were in Dream's base thing, I said some rude things to you."

You searched your memory files, and replayed the scene. Though it really was only a few weeks ago, it felt like you were reading an old book. Everything was dusty and old, and it was hard to follow along.

"I'm sorry, You didn't deserve that (Y/N)."

"It's fine Tommy. Dream did a bunch of horrible things, and he deserves to rot in that prison of his." You said comfortingly.

Tommy nodded silently.

"I can tell you're also holding something else back, Tommy. Care to share?" You asked.

Tommy hesitated. "You know that Philza is my dad, right? He's an angel, I think the angel of death. He has wings, pretty cool in my opinion if I want to be honest. And because he's my biological father, I do too."

You blinked. So you were right...

That wasn't much of a suprise though you were always right. *flips hair*

Tommy was wearing his signature red and white shirt, and there were no wings spreading out from his back.

"You must be wondering where my wings are?" Tommy said somberly. "I binded them to me about 5 years ago, and kept them that way. It was because Wilbur wasn't born with wings. He got into an argument with me one day when we were younger. He said something about it being unfair that I had wings and he didn't, and how Dad- Philza liked me better because of it. Obviously he didn't mean it at the moment, he just wanted to say something to hurt me. But I was eleven. I thought that the only way to save our brotherhood friendship was to get rid of my wings."

"So you kept your wings binded to 'fix' your friendship with Wilbur?" you asked, voice low.

"The thing is though, is that he didn't tell me to not bind my wings against my back anymore. He didn't mean it in the moment, but if he really didn't mean it then he would've told me that I didn't need to keep my wings hidden from the fucking world." Tommy scowled.

When Karl told you the tragic story of the fall of L'manburg, you'd heard of the untainted Wilbur as kind and a leader. He turned into a villain, but what if he was the villain all along? His weakness was his obsession with L'manburg and possibly his pride. It was what killed his ties with his family, and himself.

"Did Philza teach you how to fly, Tommy?" You asked

Tommy paused before answering, "Gosh, it was such a long time ago, but yeah. Why though?"

"Let your wings be free, learn to fly again. I've never met Wilbur, but he sounds like a complete bitch. I'd say you should learn to fly again. If Wilbur 'took' away your wings, your freedom, you can take it back. No one's stopping you."

Tommy sighed, "It's a nice thought (Y/N), really. I can't. After the first fall of L'manburg, I was free to do what I could. I was out of Wilbur's power, in a way. I let my wings go free, but I couldn't fly, I couldn't move them. It's like how you don't do a sport or an activity in a long time. You forget how to do it, but I didn't forget. The disusage of my wings, plus them being binded up against my back cut the flow of blood there and now they're just feathery pieces on my back. I can't move them."
