"can i see you today?"

sicheng sniffled down the phone line. he was crying, and yuta knew this, but they didnt want to talk about it. the japanese just wanted to do something to help.

there was silence for a moment, as sicheng laid on his back, looking at the ceiling and tracing lines across his palm. his phone was next to his ear, yuta's comforting voice calming him down.

"w-where?"

"anywhere. i just wanna see you. make sure you're okay. i want to distract you, chengie," yuta explained, "it's okay if you dont want to see me. i get that."

"w-why would i not want to s-see you?" sicheng asked, "you.... n-nothing.. you d-did nothing.."

"no, i know angel," the older chuckled, "i mean, if you're too weak and dont want to see anyone, i'd get it."

"i want... see you.." sicheng said, "dont know where, though."

"anywhere..."

"come to my house, please.. need you..." sicheng said, after taking a deep breath. he didnt know if he was ready for yuta to come over, but he knew he wanted him.

"are you sure? most other times you're hesitant against tha-"

"come over. please, y-yuta" sicheng almost begged. it was late, so he knew yuta would end up sleeping over, "i dont care anymore."

-

sicheng pretty much fell into yuta's arms as he opened the door to him. yuta felt his heart shatter, as he supported the chinese's fragile body, holding him by his waist and rubbing his back.

"it's okay. i've got you." he knew something was wrong. the boy was wearing what looked similar to a hospital gown. his hair was messy, his face was puffy and pale, and his lips were chapped.

sicheng pulled yuta inside, holding his hand and walking into the living room. the older subtly looked around, but sicheng noticed.

"dont talk about it," he said sternly, "theres nothing to talk about, okay yuta?"

yuta nodded. he was amazed at sicheng's ability to form sentences, as he was never this good at it. he'd usually just put words together, but today he was speaking formally.

"where's lucas?"

"upstairs..." sicheng told him, sitting on the sofa and pulling yuta down with him. he automatically fell into the older's arms, tearing up, "he knows you're here... it okay..."

nodding, yuta took his shoes and jacket off, putting the shoes on the floor, and wrapping the jacket around sicheng, "chengie, sit up for me.. for a second."

the boy obeyed, and let yuta get comfortable, before he patted his chest for him to lay back down.

"i'm s-sorry."

yuta shook his head, leaning down and placing his lips ontop of sicheng's messy hair, "there is no reason to be sorry. just relax, you're shakey..."

sicheng held out his hand, watching as it shook, making him cry harder. yuta shook his head, and took sicheng's hand in his, holding it gently, stroking the back with his thumb.

"close your eyes.." yuta whispered, kissing sicheng's head repeatedly, and stroking his hair, "try and sleep, hm?"

-

lucas: take your meds please :)

-

"i need to take... my medicine."

"where is it?"

sicheng pointed across the room at a small pot.

"get up and get it, hm? i have some water in my bag you can use," yuta told him, lifting him up, " go on."

sicheng waddled across the room, only to sit back in yuta's lap. he swallowed the pills in one go, before shutting his eyes and laying down again.

"well done..." yuta whispered, "sleepy time now.."

sicheng nuzzled up close to yuta, their legs intertwining, and hands colliding.

"t-thank 'ou..."

"it's okay baby, just rest..."
