sicheng stood in his bathroom, dabbing sparkly eyeshadow on his eyelids. today didnt feel too bad. he had work, yet he was happy as it was another day he got to see his precious yuta.

"sicheng-ah! have you eaten?" lucas called up the stairs, and sicheng responded with a small "mhm."

we was proud to say that, and not lie. he woke up earlier, and made some toast for himself. he was happy. excited. calm.

"well done!"

-

"hi~" yuta smiled, sitting on the tall stool, as sicheng rearranged the flowers resting on the window, "infamous flower boy is back, huh?"

sicheng just chuckled, before taking out one of the flowers and passing it to the older, "for you!"

yuta could almost feel his heart melting as he took the tulip from the boy's cold hands, "thank you, baby."

with a nod, sicheng turned away to complete yuta's drink, and also hide the very obvious blush laying on his cheeks from the petname, "any plans today?"

"nah.." yuta shrugged, putting the tulip in the belt hoop of his pants. the light colour matched the pink of his buttoned up shirt, "i just came to see you... do you have anything planned?"

"yuta..... never have plans," he laughed softly, " life is boring."

"it can't be that boring.." yuta comforted him, as the chinese passed his drink, "i mean, i'm in your life..."

sicheng rolled his eyes, sitting down too, "you're probably the most exciting thing.."

"ill take that as a compliment, but we both know that's wrong."

sicheng shook his head, "what is exciting?"

"life is exciting, sicheng."

-

life is exciting

life is exciting

life is exciting

life...

sicheng laid on his bed on his back, just thinking. thinking about all the words yuta had said to him today.

he needed to tell him. he needed to tell him the truth. his life wasn't exciting, because it was ending.

"im sick.." he whispered weakly to himself, his voice cracking and tears forming in his eyes, "i'm so sick, disgusting and weak.."

but he couldnt tell him. something deep inside was pulling the words down, not letting them out. he couldn't tell yuta, as he didnt want to upset him. he didnt want to make him leave.

although he didnt want the boy to be heartbroken when he left..

wiping the tear out of the corner of his eye, he grabbed his stuffed animal and trotted out of his bedroom, toward's lucas'.

he pushed the door open slowly to see lucas resting in bed and watching tv. he looked so comfortable. content. happy. alive.

"oh, hi sichengie!" he smiled, as sicheng stood in tbe door way. the older smiled back, shutting the door behind him and walking towards lucas' bed, "cuddles?"

sicheng nodded, as lucas lifted up the blanket. he crawled into bed, staring at the tv. lucas put alot of blanket over him to make sure he was comfortable, before wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

"you okay?" he asked, the light from the tv illuminating their faces. sicheng just smiled as a response, not really knowing what to say. he didnt really know if he was okay. he just wanted to be with lucas for a while. he was all he had, "it's okay. i've got you."

today didnt end as good as it started.
