~time skip~

sapnap had been staying with ava for the past 3 months, he just kept pushing back going home. dream had gone back home, however, coming round quite frequently for tea.

ava was streaming while sapnap was in the living room,
"you guys wanna read fanfics?" she read from the chat while building a house in minecraft.
"uh what kind of ones?" she asked.

"what's bitter sweet about?" she questioned, now focused on the chat.
"avanap's version of heatwaves?" she said covering her mouth, "well we obviously need to read that!" she beamed.
"is the author comfortable with us reading it though?" she asked, the chat flooding with yes.
"okay okay, maybe i thought get sapnap through here," she laughed, "sapnap! wanna help me with the stream?" she yelled.
"yeah!" he shouted back, not even 10 seconds later popping his head through the door, "hi!"
"hi! wanna read some avanap fanfic with me?" she asked.
"uh sure?" he said unsure, pulling a seat next to ava.
"alright, we are reading bitter sweet! it's on wattpad i think." she explained, downloading wattpad, sapnaps facial expression changed.
"bitter sweet?" he mumbled.
"yeah." she smiled. his cheeks turned read.
"i'm pretty sure it breaks tos in multiple ways but okay." he laughed.
chat was buzzing, and flooding with questions of sapnap had already read it.
"uh yeah, dream and george read it to me." he mumbled.
"is it good?" ava asked.
"uh, it's something."

once she created an account she searched for bittersweet,
"alright, how are we going to read this?" sapnap asked.
"i'll narrate and say my lines, you can do everyone else's lines?" she suggested.
"sure."
"okay, 'ava walked up to nicks room unable to sleep, she just wanted to feel his arms around her. she opened the door to see his hands down his p-'" she stopped, "nick! a little warning would have been nice!" she covered her face in embarrassment.
"sorry!" he chuckled.
"right we are going to skip that part, '"sorry, i couldn't sleep, can i stay with you tonight?" she asked.', i already don't like where this is going chat."
"it gets worse," sapnap laughed, "okay, 'of course you can...'" he paused for a second, "kitten." he mumbled.
the couple continued to read the most definitely nsfw fanfic, breaking so many tos.
"'she knelt down in front of him, him giving her a smirk and undoing his belt.' okay okay, we all know where this is going so let's stop here." ava stopped.
nick was laughing more than he ever had.
"nick, i can't believe you've read this."
"i didn't choose to!"

they ended the stream shortly after and giggled about the fanfic, well written but not for a twitch stream in front of 100,000 people.

...

"hey nick?" ava broke the silence between the two, now laying in bed.
"what's up?"
"i was thinking," she paused taking a deep breath,
"would you want to move in? like full time." she mumbled.
"are you serious?" his face lit up.
"yeah."
"of course, of course i would!" he beamed, pulling her into a hug. "you have no idea how much i want to do that." he whispered.
"well then, i guess i prepared myself for rejection for nothing." she joked.
"why on earth would i say no."
"i don't know."

the pair fell asleep happier than they had been in a while that night.

the next day clay came over for tea, like usual. he brought patches so she could play with lucky.
"alright, what's cooking tonight?" he asked, coming over to where ava was.
"fajitas." she smiled.
"awesome!" he beamed going to sit down, "i saw you read bittersweet last night." he teased.
"yes! i can believe you guys had already read it." she sighed.
"yeah it was a lot." he shrugged. "where's nick?"
"in the shower."

clay helped set the table and fed the cats their tea, right as it was all ready sapnap emerged from the bathroom.
"hi clay!" he smiled.
"hi!"

they all sat down, chatting away and gossiping like 10 year olds at a sleepover, they didn't act like they were 20 at all.
"oh right, we have an announcement!" ava beamed.
"what's up?" clay asked.
"nicks moving in!" they both smiled.
"oh my god! you're gonna be so close to me!" he beamed, "but i mean i'm not surprised, you've been here for 3 months."
"touché." sapnap shrugged.

after they finished eating their food, the started to rewatch brooklyn 99 on netflix for the 14th time.
"rosa is so hot." ava mumbled.
"you have an unhealthy obsession with rosa." clay wheezed.
"it's not unhealthy!" she huffed.
they got through the first 2 seasons before clay fell asleep on the couch. ava put a blanket over him and her and sapnap went through to their room.

"i honestly can't believe you're going to be staying here." she whispered, her head on his chest.
"me neither." he smiled.
"i love you."
"i love you too."
