as soon as ava got home from her lunch with clay she called sapnap.

"av i'm live, av i'm live, av i'm live." he yelled into the microphone.
"hi stream!" she yelled back, "what are you doing?"
"i'm playing minecraft, i'm on our world."
"i thought we were gonna stream together on our world?" ava asked,
"we are, but i'm making you a surprise." he beamed.
"i see, when will it be ready?" she asked again.
"20 minutes probably. i was trying to get it done before you called me but i thought you'd be out longer." he explained.
"so i take it i shouldn't watch your stream?"
"no!" he yelled, "that will ruin the surprise."
"ok ok, well call me when you're done, i'm going to go finish some school work." she giggled before hanging up.

while ava sat in her room doing homework, sapnap sat in his, streaming. the first time they met he joked saying he wanted to take her out... so he was setting up a minecraft date.

he built a fire pit surrounded by chairs and flowers, he made a cake as well and placed it on a table. he built it close by the swing along the hidden pathway.
to make the walk there more impressive he added flowers and lanterns across the path, as well as signs of reasons he was glad they were friends.

after about 20 minutes he called ava back, she picked up almost instantly.
"hello!" she beamed.
"hi!"
"do i need to stream for this?" she asked,
"no, but can you come on discord with your webcam? i want stream to be able to see your reaction." he replied.
"sure thing!" she said before hanging up and immediately calling him on discord.
the stream could now see her as she sat by her pc putting on her headset.
"alright." she said clasping her hands, "what's going on?"
"come join and you'll see!"

ava loaded up the world and spawned in their bedroom.

"i'm in the bedroom. where are you?" she asked
"i'll come get you!" he exclaimed.

ava followed his character through the forest taking note of all the cute signs he had placed.

"sapnap, what the frick." she said her cheeks becoming pink, "this is so cute, i love you too."
"that's not all!" he said leading her to the little fire pit.
"remember the first time we talked and i joked saying i wanted to take you out? well that's what i'm doing." he explained.
"sapnap." she paused, "this is the sweetest thing ever." she said covering her face realising the stream could see her.
"do you like it?" he asked.
"of course! come on give me a kiss!" she said crouching her character and going towards him.
"mwah" they said in unison both giggling.

the pair sat and streamed pretending to be on a date together. deep down both of them wished the date wasn't just a joke, or on minecraft.

eventually ava needed to go make dinner and left sapnap alone on his stream, her heart was racing and her cheeks were red. that was the sweetest thing he could have done for her, even if it was just a joke.
