ava woke up as the sunlight poured through the window, sapnap lay next to her, his hands still wrapped tightly around her.
she felt safe whenever she was in his arms, she felt loved. sapnap made her feel a way she'd never felt before. it gave her a feeling she'd never knew had existed. total euphoria. no one made her feel the way he did. he could make anything fun, whether they were going to a theme park or just watching tv sitting on the couch. anything that involved him had the opportunity to be the best thing she'd ever done.

she could hear his loud snores, snores that even dream and george were bound to hear from the other side of the house. ava would usually be driven insane by the loudness but somehow just because it was coming from him, she didn't mind. she liked it even. just knowing that he was close made her feel content.

eventually she carefully made her way out of bed, making sure she didn't wake him up. she quietly walked through to the kitchen, she was the first awake.
she took out a pan and grabbed some eggs from the fridge before cracking them into the pan and turning on the heat. she took out some bowls so she could leave some for the boys to eat once they'd woken up.

she stood there softly humming to herself, when she heard someone walk in,
"morning, sweetheart." sapnap mumbled, his voice raspy.
"morning." she smiled back.
he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist once again, resting his head on her shoulder.
"you're up early." he yawned.
"we forgot to close the curtains, the sun woke me up." she explained, "i closed them so it didn't wake you up as well."
"thanks." he smiled.
"what woke you up then?" she asked.
"it was cold without you."

the couple happily ate their breakfast together on the couch. sapnap made bacon to go with the eggs and they left enough for the other two to eat when they wanted to.

"what's on the agenda for today then?" sapnap asked enthusiastically.
"pretty sure george wants to have a picnic." ava answered, finishing her food.
"better hope it doesn't rain then." sapnap laughed.
"don't jinx it." she teased back.

she got up taking both their plates and put them in the sink, making a mental note to wash them later. sapnap went back upstairs to shower so ava decided to watch some tv while she waited for a chance to shower herself.

dream had woken up and took a portion of scrambled eggs before making his way to sit next to ava. he didn't say much, which wasn't surprising. he wasn't best known as a morning person. the only things she heard from him were little remarks to the people on tv.

george, of course, was the last of the bunch to wake up. by the time he'd gotten out of bed all three of them had showered and were ready to go out.

"don't take too long!" dream shouted to george who was walking to the bathroom. "okay so knowing him, he'll be in there for an hour."
"are we making food to bring or buying?" ava asked.
"buying, none of us are the best of cooks let's be honest." dream joked.
"well if he's going to be a while, why don't ava and i go buy some things just now?" sapnap suggested.
"sure." dream nodded.

the couple sat in the car, avas playlist playing quietly in the background. sapnap put his arm on the back of avas seat while reversing,
"that's so hot." ava said nonchalantly.
"pardon?" sapnap chuckled.
"putting your arm on the seat while reversing." ava shrugged, "it's hot."
"right, i'll remember that i guess." he teased.

sapnap and ava got to tesco and navigated their way through the aisles. dream had given them a list of foods he knew george would want, sandwiches, strawberries, cherries, cheese and crackers, doughnuts and croissants.
the fact neither of them had never been to this shop in particular did not help with attempting to find everything.

"check there!" ava said pointing to an aisle.
"the sign says coffee, why do you think that's where the fruit would be?" sapnap mentally facepalmed.
"i don't know! we just need to check everywhere." she rolled her eyes.
"just check the signs, dumbass." he teased lightheartedly.

the made their way around the shop a couple of times before getting everything on the list and a few extra things. sapnap paid while ava spoke to one of the cashiers who had recognised her.

the quartet drove up to a secluded park about 30 minutes away from where george lived. he said he'd  been there a couple times in college with his friends but hadn't gone back in a couple years.

the park was beautiful, a large empty field of grass, with a couple of trees to shelter them from the sun. off the side was a huge patch of flowers of all different colours. it seemed so peaceful, what were a bunch of 19 year old college students doing in a park like this? getting drunk probably.
