the next morning ava put on the outfit she'd showed the boys the night before and got ready to go out, she grabbed her keys off the kitchen table and started to drive to her mum and dads house.

the car ride was about 30 minutes longer so she played her favourite play list, sex with a ghost by teddy hyde was now blasting through the speakers.

ava hadn't spoken to her parents in a while, after they had a huge argument over her wanting to stream for a living her mum said some pretty hurtful things. however, last week they reached out asking to see each other again, which ava agreed to.

lost in her own thought she almost didn't hear her phone ring,
"hi!" the texans voice came through the speaker.
"hey." ava smiled.
"wanna play some minecraft?" the boy asked.
"i'm in the car right now, but later yes."
"oh yeah! i forgot you were going to see your parents." the brown haired boy chuckled.
"yeah." she sighed.
"you alright?"
"yeah, it's just last time i spoke to them we didn't end on the greatest of terms" she explained.
"i'm sure it will be fine, av." he reassured her.

the pair spoke for the remaining 10 minutes of the journey, taking avas mind off the insane anxiety she was feeling.

"ok, i'm here now." she said pulling into the driveway.
"have fun!" the texan beamed before hanging up.

ava took a deep breath a walked up to the door and knocked. almost instantly her dad opened it.

"sweetheart!" he smiled pulling her into a hug.
"hi." she said.
"come on in!" he gestured to the couch.

ava sat herself down, "where's mum?"
"oh about that..." he sighed,
"she isn't quite ready to talk."
"oh." she deadpanned, "alright."
"but i am, sweetie." he said trying to lift the mood.
"i don't know if i really want to talk about it." she said.

"that's fine! i just wanted to see you again." the dad beamed, "i also wanted to say how proud of you i am, i regret saying what i said. i didn't mean it." he took a deep breath,
"you've come so far and i can see how happy you look, i've been watching some of your streams" he smiled.

ava paused, her dad had never been a man to express how he felt, so the sincere apology meant a lot to her.
"it's alright. i get it, and you watch my streams?" she smiled.
"yeah!" he beamed, "well, kinda... i can't figure that twitch or whatever it is, but videos of you always show up on my youtube!"
"oh yeah, i post my streams on youtube!" she explained.
"so who's that boy? snapchat is it?"
"snapchat's an app dad." the brunette giggled, "sapnap, he's my online friend, he's from texas."
"how did you two meet?" he asked.
"you remember clay? it's his friend." she explained.

ava spoke to her dad for a few hours, catching up with each other. after all they hadn't spoken in over a year. he invited her to stay for dinner but seen as her mum obviously wasn't happy with her being around she declined and went home.
