"Bruh, can you get the phone for me? I got this lady fussing at Kev," Khy popped his head into their office and Siah nodded with a chuckle.

Since the boys took ownership over the garage, they decided they'd do what Mr. Frank did for them when they were young and hire guys straight out of tech or trade school, which came with problems sometimes.

This was actually their last day open for the rest of July, the boys—mostly Siah with Khyren's verbal approval, reworked the shop's budget and expenses, and saw they had a lot of wiggle room, enough for some very desperately needed repairs and a remodel of the inside waiting area.

Mr. Frank's garage was always comfortable for the customers, but years of wear and tear could take a  lot from that, so the guys decided a little revamp was overdue.

Siah's works had been more managerial than anything the past few weeks. He didn't mind of course, but he missed being out with the guys fixing cars and just laughing, joking around. He'd be happy when they reopened on August 1st.

They made sure all of their regulars came in for any services this week, and this was the last block of them.

"Excuse me! Fiancé is here!" he heard approaching his door and he chuckled to himself. Regular clients of course included Khy's sister and his very proud fiancé. "You here, Papa?" she peeked her head in the office.

"Mhm, come in Peanut," he nodded, and she pushed the door open with a grin. She had come straight from work, he could tell from the way she was dressed, and her light makeup. Her hair was currently in faux locs that were put up in a bun on top of her head.

She walked over to him, setting her purse down on his desk and grabbed his face to kiss him.

"I missed you all day," she pouted.

"Did you? I wouldn't know because yo' ass don't text back," he fussed, and her eyes got big.

"My bad! I was driving, and then I went to get my nails done so you know I can't text during my appointment," she defended, and he just raised his eyebrows. "I love you," she cheesed.

"I love you too," he chuckled and she took a seat at Khy's desk. "You had a better day today?" he asked her, going back to typing.

She'd been a little swamped at work lately, and it was stressing her, which he hated. She was sleeping less because she brought work home and he was frustrated for her.

"Eh, it was busy. Which is why I got my nails done, I needed it," she explained and he nodded. "My tech complimented my ring again, she acts like she hasn't seen it at every appointment," she laughed and he smiled.

Their being engaged had brought them so much happiness the past three months. When they got back from Miami, everyone was throwing congratulations their way for days upon days. Her dad was so excited for them—which was a surprise to him. He thought Mr. Bryant would be more emotional, but he was just so happy that Sadé was happy.
