We finished our dinner at the fancy restaurant down that street and Wanda called an Uber.
On the way home we jammed out to some Michael Jackson and Queen.
We reached the tower entrance and went up the elevator. Once the doors opened we heard scrambling and faint noises.
"Oh there back."
"They better not be drunk."
"Kayden can't drink. She is a minor."
"Well Nat and Wanda better not be drunk."
We all heard whispers coming from the living room so we decided to head there first before heading back to Nat's room.
"Hey boys!"
"A movie night without us seriously!"
"I thought we agreed that movie nights were to only happen if we were all together!"
"Sorry we got bored and didn't know what to do"
Tony slowly turned his chair around to reveal the popcorn sitting on his lap.
"I'll take that."
Wanda took the popcorn from Tony and sprinted up the stairs and into Nat's room.
"Ok goodnight then."
I followed Nat up the stairs and into her room to find two mattresses laying on the floor with my pillow and covers.
We got our pajamas on and makeup off and turned on Greece.
As Wanda and Nat were singing along I slowly fell asleep.
I felt someone pull the covers to my shoulders and kiss my forehead.
"Goodnight Kayden. Thank you for a fun night"
And that was one of the best nights of my life. I finally felt free. Free from stress. Free from my arm. And I finally felt normal.
