Bucky's POV
She sat there for what felt like forever. Looking up at me. Then back to the photo. Up at me again, then back down to the photo. She placed her flesh hand on my shoulder before collapsing into my chest. But she didn't start crying. I thought she would, but she didn't."I'm so sorry Bucky. You should have told me earlier. I'm not mad, I'm not upset. Because it means I wouldn't be here with you. You are my family, no one else. It doesn't matter who's blood I have running through my body. You will always be my father."
We sat there for a few hours. I could feel her getting heavier in my arms. I picked her up and carried her to her room, and put her into her to bed.
"Did you tell her?"
Steve popped out from behind the fridge door holding 2 plums. He knew I would kill him if he ate them both. So I was curious as to what he was going to do with it.
"Yeah. She is ok. At least she says she is but I don't know. She didn't cry, she didn't scream, she just hugged me and told me she was sorry."
"Catch."
Steve threw a plum to me, as I sat on the bench picking up the TV remote.
"It will all turn out ok" Steve returned back to the couch sitting next to Bucky biting into the plum.
"Yeah I hope so."
