Y/n POV

"Why?" I asked trying to mask my worry.

"There was security breach," Fury said.

"Is...do you have her?" I asked Fury choking down my tears.

Please tell me she's okay. Please tell me she's okay.

"I'm sorry, I tried," Fury said. I dropped the phone and ran out of Peter's apartment and towards the house letting the tears roll down my cheeks.

I should have stayed in the shed. I shouldn't have trusted him again. Not after the last time.

I ran through the front gates not caring about the human sized hole I left and I burst through the front door.

"Y/n, I'm sorry-" I cut him off.

"Oh, you're sorry? Is that supposed to make this better? I trusted you with the one thing that still matters to me! Even after what you did I trusted you! And again, I made the wrong call!" I yelled as tears continued to furiously run down my cheeks. I felt my rage rising.

"Y/n, calm down." Fury told me looking a bit scared. "Look what you're doing." he said and pointed to the kitchen island that was now being filled with thorny vines. I looked over and saw the mess I had made, I suppressed my anger a bit which made the vines stop but not the tears.

"I'm gonna find Gigi," I started without looking him in the eye. "And when I do, I'm going far away and deep underground. You won't be able to find me again." I finished and walked out, slamming the front door on my way.

Peter's POV

"Is...do you have her?" I heard y/n say as she choked back her tears.

The voice over the phone was faint and the words weren't recognizable but from her reaction I could tell it wasn't good.

--------------

"She dropped her phone and ran out the door, before I knew it she was out of sight," I told Ned and MJ while MJ grabbed her books from her locker.

"Do you still have her phone?" Ned asked.

"Yeah, I was planning on giving it to her today but I haven't seen her," I explained. "Someone keeps calling her but I don't check it because I feel like that would be invading her privacy."

"You should answer it," MJ said.

"No, that's totally and invasion of privacy," I said.

"So what? Maybe it's her trying to find her phone." MJ said. "Maybe she forgot she left it at your house."

"I don't know," I said.

"Here, let me see," she said and put out her hand. I took the phone out of my pocket and handed it to her. She looked at it for a few seconds before turning it on. "It says she has 15 missed calls from..." she trailed off.

"From who?" Ned asked.

"Nick Fury," MJ said and handed the phone back to me like it was poison.

"What? How does y/n know Fury?" I asked confused.

"Oh, what if she's the new girl. Who was it? Oh, Hybrid," Ned said excitedly.

"Oddly enough that makes sense. I mean she obviously likes superheroes, she's super smart like you described Hybrid," MJ explained in more detail.

"Yeah but I mean that could be anybody," I said and they both gave me a look. "Okay, fine I'll ask Fury about it when I see him after school." I compromised and we continued the rest of the school day normally.

Y/n never showed up, something felt off the entire day. I felt like she was in trouble or someone close to her was. I pushed it aside a little just to make sure I had reason to worry.

"Mr. Fury?" I asked trying to get his attention to let him know I was there. He has been pacing since I walked in, it looked like he was thinking but with him you never know. "Mr. Fury." I said a bit louder this time.

He stopped and turned to look at me. "What?" he asked annoyed.

"I need to talk to you about something," I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"So you know Hybrid and everything," I started, the topic seemed to get his attention because it looked like he was actually listening now. "Well, I was wondering if you knew her secret identity."

"Why?" he asked curiously.

"Well, there's this new girl at my school and she kinda left her phone at my house and um well you keep calling her." I said quickly.

His eyes widen as if I had just given him relief and more worry.

"I need your help. I have two agents down and I can't find either," Fury said.

"Well, what can I do?" I asked.

"I need you to be our lookout, you see anything suspicious you follow the lead. Don't engage just watch. You see y/n, you come straight back to me. Understood?" Fury instructed.

"What about Hybrid and her groot?" I asked.

"They're the agents we can't find," Ms. Hill said.

This brought a lot of realization and connection together. The cute and smart new girl was secretly a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with cool powers and a girl groot. That's a lot to take in.

But I mean I'm sure it's gonna be a lot for her when she finds out I'm Spider-Man.

Fury sent me off and I started to patrol the streets of Queens. It was still in the early afternoon so nothing seemed to happened but when the sun started dying down things got interesting.
